HW:DE vs HW 360 version multiplayer cross play?

I am pretty sure the answer is already no, but my friends and I have noticed a spike in the amount of newer players on the 360 version of Halo Wars (mostly high ranking noobs). This got me curious, since I recently read a post on a youtube vid saying the 360 version players could play with Xbox One version players. I didn’t believe it, but wanted to confirm.

If this is true, then I may not be as mad at them for splitting the MP community of the Steam and Windows Store versions (still a little mad though).

For PC Ultimate Edition owners it’s terrible. They basically have to buy again if they want people to play with.

They can’t get PC players to play together, what chance do XBOX people have? Not to mention they are actually entirely different (Insert some smart comment about XBE executables)

Not gunna happen (well I mean it’s technically possible but it wouldn’t help 343 or Microsoft in any way)
