Husky Raid - Flaw on the map "Sleipnir"?

Honestly, this is my second most despised map in rotation, beat only by Meta Wave. However that’s irrelevant to the topic. The point is just today I had a match on Sleipnir where I got the enemy flag over to our base, but our flag happened to be away. I waited upstairs behind a rock for a little over a minute, but despite the many “flag dropped/taken” notifications we never reset it. After I got killed and went over to recapture their flag, I saw why we never made any progress.

Somehow, their carrier was INSIDE the one-way shield room with the flag. None of us could get through or shoot him.

I’ve never actually had this happen before, at least not in Arena. I had spawned underneath the vehicle-shield in Warzone a few times, but that’s another matter entirely - I don’t know how this guy got the FLAG behind the shield as well.

Anyway, just tossing this out there on the significantly unlikely chance that this might get looked into - be it a glitch or exploit.

This happened to me once, and I went back and recorded it to see how it happened. Essentially, you can get the flag so close to the barrier that someone inside it can grab the flag without fully coming out. I’m sure if you rewatch the match, you’ll see that’s what they did. What they’ll need to avoid that is to do what Castle Wars has done on some maps: Make two barriers. When you walk through the first, you’ll be forced through the second. But with the way Sleipnir is set up, that’ll just end up making it an even worse Husky Raid map.

The map itself IS the flaw.

Well just had five more games where people had done this. Two Sleipnir’s in a ROW where BOTH teams had their flag behind the spawn. Shame nothing will ever be done about it given Halo 5’s in its last days at this point, so it’s unlikely the map will be like taken out of rotation or something. As it is, I’m just Reporting anyone who does it. For what little good that does…

I’m almost considering just quitting anytime I see Sleipnir come up because of how often its devolving into this sort of behavior, and it’s becoming increasingly common it seems.
