It is a great day. I’ve been waiting some time now for unnecessary ads to get in my way while navigating around the waypoint web pages. I was so happy today to find some! I absolutely just love advertising. ok ok really, I had hopes for 343 but they’re slowly letting me down. The waypoint web site is already slow. It takes a while to load, there’s always delays around the custom challenge creation and turn-in. I noticed today that they’ve included subtle advertising on certain hyper linked words like CREDITS and SLOTS etc. that opens a pop up of some online university or casino respectively. If they’re going to start throwing ads all over waypoint, I would at least expect the website would start running faster from whatever money they may be getting from these ads. I think it’s safe to assume that the majority of online users dislike advertising to say the least. I really hope they turn this around or that it doesn’t get any worse. Throw us a bone 343 please!!!
If it’s not 343’s decision then i’m sorry for an ill informed post, I could be wrong, it happens.
they WERE inside my custom challenge slots where it said CREDITS for how much each challenge was worth. When I put the curser over top a drop down ad showed up. But hopefully it was just a fluke thing. Weird.
