Huragok (enginners) as allies with gametype?

After reading Grasslands and Thursday war, what if we had the engineers helping us in the campaign. There on are side now and they be helpful to have around like the last mission in halo odst.

Ideas on how they will function:
(1)When under fire they will hide behind cover to prevent be shot and try to stay far away from combat.

(2)When deployed they will give you and your allies extra shields to save you from dieing and give you ammo if you low.

(3)If its just you and the engineer left then it will flee far away from the battle or call in reinforcements.

But to prevent the engineer to be OP:

(1)When being shot at the engineer will stop admitting shields to allies and use to shields to protect itself.

(2) The shields are like the odst shields they only can withstand so much. The higher the difficulty the less strength of the shields and the less ammo it gives you.

The MM gametype Would be a escort gametype. It be a 5v5 on medium to big maps. One team must escort the engineer to a drop off point to be extracted. The engineer will use the campaign function to help the players out. The other team must kill the engineer to win the round. But the engineer will have extend health which will be displayed and shields so it won’t die in one hit. Along the way the defending team can place turrets and a good spot to defend each point.

What do you guys think about this? What can we do to make the engineers work in campaign and how can this gametype be balance in MM? Please make suggestion with maturely and no hating, try to stay on topic with the thread.

Maybe for just one mission, but not the whole campaign.

It doesn’t have to be with you the whole campaign, but since they’re basically natural AI’s, maybe it can talk to you from a long distance through a translator or something telling you objectives. It could be the perfect replacement for cortana. Great idea dude. :slight_smile:
