So, Hunters are those massive eel creatires we’ve fought in every single game. We faced these Juggernauts throughout the Human-Covenant War many times. They struck fear into any Marine who faced them. Even Spartans had trouble taking them down.
But, if this Flood invasion happens, humanity may have to unite with former Covenant species out of necessity to simply survive.
And this means that Hunters will be there.
Hunters are immune to the Flood.
But how effective do you think a bunch of Hunters would be against this threat? You think this would give us an advantage in battle?
I think it’ll be a huge advantage and perhaps their will be new Mgalekgolo forms just to take on the Flood. They already can be Scarabs lol.
No one is entirely immune–the Hunters can still be killed by Flood and consumed for raw biomass just like any other biological creature, they just can’t be infected into combat forms. They wouldn’t be as effective as you’d think, just regular heavy infantry.
I’m still dreaming of the day when all Covie species and UNSC unite and fight against the Flood.
I hope it won’t always be a dream.
Brings me back to the halo 2 campaign when we play as the arbiter and run into a group of two lekgolo and one elite telling us the hunters are fighting on our side.
The flood fire slowly and inaccurately, Hunters and Spartans wreck stuff all day, as do Elites of course.
Unless the Flood is HUGE, like REALLY HUGE in numbers, I would say Flood loses.
One way to find out ; )

This post is true.
