It you guys haven’t seen it yet, you need to check out the teaser pic for the new Halo 5 update! We’re getting a Hunter’s arm as a cannon! A freaking Hunter’s arm! I know, slightly weird but ingenious. This is the creativity in weapons Halo 5 has lacked since launch. I hope they can keep this up! (And I hope we get a Knight’s Arm Sword next.) Thoughts?

Why not give us the Hunter’s shield instead? We could use it as a battering ram (i.e gravity hammer). I think this game has enough launchers, something with a defense first mindset would be greatly appreciated!
Ya i heard it was going to be through mounted turret. I thought that was kinda odd. But I’m curious how they will do it.
I wonder if we will also be able to use higher ranked Hunter canons, especially the ultra…

Yeah. Halo’s never gone down that road before and I’m not sure how well it would work, but is be interested to see them try. Now that we’ve got the cannon, who knows?
The only reason I’d use a Hardlight Blade is if it were like the Halo 4 variation where the Knights used it to launch Pulse Grenades.

It would probably have it’s own effects, such as how a Shotgun differs from a Scattershot. I would like it just for Asthetics and just because it would be epic to wield one. It would also help with Machinimas.

I think the jackal shield would be cooler. But having both would be badass.
How would “riot shield” items work in Halo 5’s gameplay? I may make a seperate thread about this issue.
