Hunters are almost unbeatable on Legendary

They are time consuming, but not impossible. But, yeah, I didn’t find them as fun to fight this time around. However, when you get some more FOBs and access to rocket launchers just load up some Marines and have them fire from a distance. It’s how I beat Myriad.

why use rocket launchers when the Sniper Back combo is also working super and what cheaper in Valor points you need?

Y’all can use whatever. I only heard about the viability of loading up a Razorback once I had rockets unlocked.

Everyone has some legendary hunter gameplan and claims they are so easy, until they have to face the red pair in the room toward the end of the game(not the pair in the training room before the spartan killer elite). No vehicles, no razerback full of snipers or arcane beams, nothing… Just a small room with some ammo and a few ways to break LOS if you need to. I mean I’m sure there are ways of exploiting them in the room, but cheesing a single player game on your first play through is lame and no accomplishment.

Yeah, that pair SUCKED. Probably took me a solid 20 wipes before I just managed to brute force my way to overcome them. I don’t even remember how I did it.

Hunters are so easy to beat on Legendary and LASO, they can easily be one shotted, you must not be strategizing when playing against them or on Legendary lol

I killed all the Hunters in Heroic and actually love how 343i have made them way tougher and more intelligent. Hunters have been lackluster in all previous games.

In Legendary they probably are almost impossible though at least those 2 red ones in that room. I cheesed my LASO run with the Tank Gun lol.

All in all I think Hunters in Infinite are the best incarnation of the series. But their vulnerable parts should probably take slightly more damage.

It’s easy to beat Hunters on Legendary.

Step 1 - Carry a LOT of Fusion Coils to the fight area.

Step 2 - YEET

Step 3 - They are beat.

Step 4 - Rinse, Repeat.

Step 5 - Hey that rhymed. Huh… neat.

its true that you can use all weapons combo’s for it.

but the rocket launcher with razorback has also some problems since there not hit alway’s
and the snipper razorback hits alway’s there target and its also more powerfull combo then the rocket launcher.

if you try it once in a mission like for the 5 becon’s then you will see how powerfull that deadly combo is with the 5x snippers and the razorback combo is

This is a secret mini boss fight the Red hunter officers (Thunder skull) you face near the Mythic skull. I took them on this time an died alot it was epic but you can just skip it an go down the shoot. It’s inside the forerunner structure. The pair would flank me often and repel my nades. No Tough Luck skull needed. I came out of that encounter like I just beat a Boss in Ninja Gaiden assured that my skill an style have ascended.

They are not unbeatable. However, Halo Infinite Hunters are NOT fun to fight.

They are bullet-sponges, there’s no special trick that makes them truly easier to beat.
Sure, you can take off the back-armor, but they still take a lot of damage before they die.

It’s just annoying to fight them, and not fun.

Hunters were my least favourite from day one. But with strategy, they were doable.

Halo 5: Guardians made me hate them because they were TOO FAST. Plus plasma grenades wouldn’t stick to them.

Now in Halo Infinite they’re much worse. I get that they need to be more challenging due to changed player mechanics. But dang. Just because I can use Kaioken it doesn’t mean I can fight a Super Saiyan Level 2!

The hunters are far better off this way they actually fit in with the lore. It was a joke they were heavily armored in the first few games yet a single shot could drop them. Hint stay back an pick them off from cover. It takes how many rockets to drop them now.

They die like wimps to one or two good sword slashes.

Lore isn’t a good excuse for an unfun enemy who is BS to fight.
