I remember talking to someone on here about this, but I thought I’d make a new thread for it.
With the new wave of Mattel figures coming out, I think that the Hunter Captain is too good of an opportunity to pass up for the next one. It looks so cool, and would look amazing in a collection, and I think it should be an official Mattel / Mega Construx figure!
Anyone else get behind this?

I also think that Atriox’s Chosen & The Warlord would make pretty good ones, too.

I don’t know, those Mattel toys look very crappy. Most of the time they don’t retain the feeling of the character. So I’d rather they would make like statues similar to those made by blizzard but cheaper.
I do agree the captain has a badass model.

I personally think Mattel looks a lot better than Mcfarlane. They’re just always more expensive here in England cause they all gotta be imported.
My favourite is Joyride though. It’s really too bad they went out of business; I’d love to see what they would have done with the newer Halo’s.
I my son has a huge portion of the mega bloks… just too bad I usually end up building them. The scorpion, Kodiak, and wraith each took me like 3 hours to make. I think the hunter captain would be pretty cool even though cutter, Atriox and decimus look kind of cheesy.

If the do this it would have to be make out of cast iron and painted professionally. The bits that glow would have to glow on the figure. Yeah it would be expensive but I’ve seen many ‘high quality’ figures and they look cheap because they’re made from plastic.
Not sure Mattel would invest on randoms that most wouldn’t recognize, but Mega Construx might be willing to make one Heroes Wave for Halo Wars 2, after all they’ve made a ton of Cyclops that never existed.

Thing with that is, mega has never done Halo faces and figure scaling well, and Atriox is pretty small compared to in-game cutscenes. The toy mega has is the same height as everyonee else, but he stands two heads taller then a spartan, and almost three over Cutter
