Hunter Captain Balance?

I know this is not a new thing but I was curious about the community opinion on Colony’s hero, the Hunter Captain. He is a TANK. I find that in later stages of the game he is extremely hard to kill, often requiring a full pop army to do so, which is a bit absurd. Added are his siphoning buffs, Taunt, and Colony’s Engineer Swarm. I even came ready with upgraded snipers and still could not secure the kill. If the hc levels up after killing your units then good night.

I guess one good thing is how miserably slow the thing is.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are hero such as Johnson, who, if more than three units look at up, goes up in flames. There is a drastic difference

What’s the communities’ opinion and/or good ways to kill that thing?

I love where Colony is right now. He starts off very easy to kill, but he is a tank if you let him tech up, but he can still be killed by his counter units. But nearly every hero is like that if they get fully powered up to level 3.

Counter units as mentioned, I’ve had the best luck using air units - not because the air unit is strong against the Hunter Captain, but because the Hunter Captain is weak vs Air and very, very slow.

He may be tanky as all get out, but he’s still an Infantry Hero unit. Send Hellbringers after him or Vultures, even Hornets, or if you want to be cheeky and have bragging rights (for whatever reason) send in a swarm of 'Hogs. Anything that can kill Infantry the best he will eventually succumb to.
