So I noticed while playing Infection that somebody was using the Hunter (Spartan Locke’s) armor, and I got to thinking, is there any way to get it, or any variants of it, in-game? I remember there was a GameStop pre-order bonus, but obviously it’s far too late for that.

Thanks. Was kind of worried it was a pre-order exclusive. Now I can rest easy knowing there won’t be an empty slot in my armor collection someday.

You can get it from Gold REQ packs, but it being very rare you will have trouble getting this. Honestly Halo 5 made a large mistake making every single armour piece unlockable via REQ packs besides Achilles… Even Hellioskrill you can get from a pack.

The Hunter set can be obtained through Gold Packs, though it doesn’t come in another variant.
It’s a mythic legendary unlock, though. So the odds of you getting it before you unlock the other hundreds of non-mythic things are pretty slim. I’m 38 things away from having unlocked everything and I don’t have it.
Just play Halo and get those Reqs!!!
Contrary to what I originally thought, this armor is not exclusive. You can get it (as everyone else has said) in Gold Packs. It’s pretty rare though…
