Hunter armor

So since I’ve been on the gold grind I’m close to unlocking everything in the game. I checked the armor sets I needed and I have a few left, like 8ish. But I noticed that the Hunter armor set doesnt have a variant. Why is that? I think its the only armor in the game that doesnt have a variant

No…several armors lack variants(ex.the Reach armors,Strider,CIO,Ranger,Pioneer,Raider).

Pretty silly that, and yet some have 3 to 4 variants. Maybe more. Obvisiously the reach ones i understand but some others.

Yeah, lol even Tanaka’s armor got a variant. Oh well, maybe its for the best.

Deadeye should have some variants too, it’s one of the most beautiful helmets in the game.

Agreed, Deadeye is pretty awesome

I personally think that all armours should have 5 variants

  • Normal - White paint - Battle damaged - Darkened secondary - HCSIts probably not ideal with the current unlock system but for future games it could work.

Battle damaged would look pretty cool

id like to see the prototype variant-Locke’s version. With the glowing lines, segmented techsuit and color pattern. But that’s me.

My thoughts on armor skins is something like this:

Normal Skin: (Armor covered in symmetrical secondary coloring by about 15-20% coverage.) (Req System unlock)
Colorful Skin: (Armor has 25-35% symmetrical secondary coverage.) (Earned by 25 kills in normal armor set)
Basic Skin: (Armor has 3-5% symmetrical secondary coverage.) (Earned by 50 kills in normal armor set)
Wartorn Skin: Normal Skin battle damaged. (125 kills in normal skin.)
1-2 variants with various, non restricted secondary patterns. (REQ system.)

No more darkened Primary or Secondary colors and no more unchangable white lines except on miscellaneous variants. White lines cover no more than 20-25% of an armor set.
