I bought the codes for the pre-ordered halo 5 game and none of them worked. These were bought off of Amazon by a person who said they were new and unused and these codes were not showing like the scratch off was still on it and the codes did not work I was told they didnt work because they needed to be applied as soon as the game is downloaded onto your xbox one.
It could be possible that the codes expired. If you got the codes via physical cards, I would inspect the cards to see if there is an indication of an expiration date.

I checked for one and found none.
