Hunt the truth trailer

The relationship between the Master Chief and Spartan Locke never got this bad. I would have loved to see this in the game but they teased it to us and never had anything related to it in the game except for in my opinion a horrible fight scene. Halo 5 Guardians | Master Chief - YouTube

One of the many things wrong with the writing in this game. Hopefully the new lead writer will do a much better job for Infinite.

I enjoyed the HTT podcast when it was released, but the actual story of Halo 5 made it a waste of time.

I think is one of the causes that make some players hate the campaign because was totally different

It is commonly described as a bait and switch and criticized by many in the Halo community. The actual campaign wasn’t bad necessarily, it was just not what we expected due to the false marketing campaign and soured it a lot. Not sure who was in charge of the marketing team, but they did a good job selling us an idea, but a bad job of selling that idea truthfully. Maybe the real hunt was the hunt for the truth of what the Halo 5 campaign was actually about.

Get out of here that advertisement was trash and the campaign was trash.

I’d say the story in Halo 5 is the worst in the series, but I think the gameplay in the campaign holds up pretty well. I know that sounds weird though, because people play the campaign for the story specifically.

People are allowed to have differing opinions.

Title of this thread sounds like a great name for some sort of mobile escape room attraction.

They’re not doing a spiritual reboot because everybody loved Halo 5. facts over opinions

Are you talking about Infinite? If so, I don’t remember them ever saying that unless you have a source for it, but if not then that’s just an opinion.
