How do you think the Master Chief would react if he found out about Benjamin Giraud’s investigation and subsequent imprisonment?
Chief’s head is a tough one to get into. It’s hard to imagine how he’d react to anything. Halo4 he was still fairly walled off. He stood up to Del Rio, but didn’t really ignore orders again until Halo5. Which was not received that well. I assume that if they’re pulling back from that, we’ll be back to Halo3 era Chief that follows orders. So, if Chief were to find out about Ben’s work (I don’t see him reading the equivalent of the news paper), he’d probably appreciate Ben’s work but trust in ONI/UNSC and continue following orders. Essentially ignoring it.

It’s certainly an interesting thought. I’d like to know more about how Chief reacted to his betrayal by ONI and his framed terrorist attack. Maybe I’m just dumb and there is content showing his reaction, if so, please link it to me : )
