Ok. I don’t think anyone has posted this so hear me out. Also if you didn’t listen to episode 6 I suggest you do this before reading the rest.
Episode 6 was very interesting. Petra almost kills ben. Then we learn that Deon the boxing coach was a legit person but he died 7 years ago.
Then we learn of mshack telling ben about someone named Pharoah. It is a she and she is soon going to be in contact with ben.
Who is Pharoah? I think it is halsey. Why? Mshack says he hacked into ONI. He tells ben that he is going to talk to Pharoah. Mshack could hack and arrange an interview between halsey and ben also known as the halo 4 prologue.
What do you think?
I’m going to go with what other people have said and say Halsey is Pharaoh.

Halsey was detained before the events of Halo 4 and “Pharoah” is the one who’s visiting Ben so there’s no way hunt the truth takes place before Halo 4.
Halsey seems likely but who knows, it could just be someone else entirely. I can only really believe this though because mshak actually corrected Ben and said it was a “she” and not a “he.”

Exactly. Halsey was detained before halo 4. Correct. No one said she was visiting ben. Only that she would be in contact. Mshack could hack into oni and make the interview happen or set up a time that Ben could go

Exactly. There was a lot of emphasis on the “she”. Got me thinking

That doesn’t make any scene, ONI (Osman in particular) would’ve been constantly keeping an eye on her and would’ve known if she was allowed to talk to Ben also Osman would never allow such a thing to happen. So if Halsey did contact Ben it has to be after Halo 4/Spartan because by then she’s no longer detained by ONI.

It could be possible, big war and all that, but I don’t think it was ever outright confirmed.

I’ve got a pet theory that due to the similar way they greet Ben and the oddness of Mshak’s introduction. Also from forward unto dawn when Sully meets chief and is unable to get answers: Could Mshak be Sully??
I’ve probably missed something obvious that disproves this theory.
Oh well 
We don’t know yet if Mishak has ever met or seen Pharaoh or if he is just communicating with her. So what if it’s Cortana?

This episode was really funny. Mishak cracks me up.
“I guess I could probably secure the line for you, you do it so wrong.”
Also Ray in the background when Ben says
“Ray’s taking care of that”
“Nope, no I’m not.”
Not a big fan of speculation, but its a reasonable guess.
