Could the Character referred to “Pharaoh” in today’s episode of Hunt the Truth be Catherine Halsey?
It seems quite possible as she might be looking for a way to strike back at ONI/UNSC for trying to have her assassinated. Besides I think that it’s getting to be time in the series for a very recognizable person to show up, and we don’t know that many women characters in Halo that are not directly affiliated with the UNSC.
Do you think this is probable? or do you have a different theory entirely.
Very interesting theory. Maybe she wants to help tear ONI down and release the dark secrets.
Halsey was most certainly the first thought that crossed my mind. And Mishak’s intentional emphasis on “she” when revealing Pharoah’s gender furthered that suspicion a thousand fold.

Wasn’t it tweeted out earlier that if lore fans knew who was brought into voice today, they would flip out or something like that? Jen Taylor as Halsey for #huntthetruth is my bet.
EDIT: Also, it would help show that ONI was just as behind the crimes Halsey committed as Halsey was, so blaming her would thus sound more ridiculous. There is no way this can’t be Halsey.

But he says “hardcore” lore fans. Majority of Halo players now know who Halsey is. She’s not someone the “hardcore” lore fans would flip out about. So I don’t think it’s Jen Taylor/Dr. Halsey he was talking about.
