so i was playing minecraft the other day and i thought hey i think this hunger system should be in halo 4!!
think about it! it would add a new skill to halo. survival
to relieve your hunger you have to find food over the map. maybe a granola bar here, or salad here.
first you would start expierencing some hunger pains
then you will die from hunger!!!
master cheif has to carry around that heavy armer all day! he needs some food to help him!! duhh!!! it makes the game moar realistic!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! it breaks canon, called FIB, 991, CIA. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, we are doom!!!
OT: honestly, i can see the realism there,but this is a shooter not a survival/ adventure/ crafting game. nobody, and i am pretty sure nobody, would want to go into a middle of a fight to look for granola bars. the suit probably regulates is food diet anyways with anarodic steriods or something.

well it would make a wider variety of custom games and a new skill halo needs

Umm… what? Halo has never really been a survival game. At least as we know it. I always assumed that Master Chief just ate and went to the bathroom in between missions.

no no no no nope never ever ever in my halo no no no, p.s. when playing an indie survival game one should never say, “This would work in Halo” because it most likely wouldn’t
because lets say u are in a middle of a fight and u look around in no food, or ur surround by bad guys. you cant just ignore them, so u wont sufficate do to food shortages.
it would piss off so so many people. like it is not doing that enough already.

Because having a Spartan eating a bucket of KFC in matchmaking is just SO normal… 2 totally different games. You might as well have chicken stuck to the wall…

i am too, but look it just wont work. ok people want to shot things, not worry if thier hunger bar is full for a whole 20 minutes. it like this: oh fart master chief is hungery. ok prmethaan knights ill be back in a second, please do not follow me. i have to go search for wild berries that give me deadly gas and probably are poisonous.

are you implying that 343i will put poisonous berries around in maps??? that is unrealistic.

i think this idea isnt half bad. i always thought halo needed more realism. so this would work great. I posted a new idea for water level. it was inspired by your idea. thanks broadohio.
The current state of the shooter genre is built around fast-paced action. A feature like that, if anything, would happen mid-cutscene, rather than appearing as a gameplay mechanic.
