"Hunger Games" gametype?

Over the course of my Halo experience, I’ve enjoyed playing creative gametypes with classmates. One of our favorite custom gametypes was a Hunger Games-ish competition, where we fought to the death. Now, if something like that were in Halo 4, it would go like this:

  • Biggest map(s) in the game
  • Maximum amount of players possible (I assume this is 16)
  • Every man for himself
  • No respawns
  • Motion sensor is disabled
  • No armor abilities allowed
  • No ordnance drops allowed
  • Everyone spawns with a magnum
  • Grenades and other weapons must be scavenged from the map
  • Any power weapon (a weapon capable of one hit kills) spawns with only one clip
  • Last two players get full ammo refills, an ordnance drop, and Promethean Vision to make it harder to camp or hide
  • If game time runs out and there has not been a winner, then the living player with the highest amount of kills wins the round

Would you guys like this gametype in Halo 4?

I personally Hated that gametype tons of people left and I didn’t think it was all that popular aswell it could work with about eight people at most.

This was one of my favourite gametypes in Halo Reach. It really got me excited and gave me bursts of adrenaline while playing. However, many things need to be added to the list of updates for the gametype. The worst thing about this gametype was the amount of players that would quit. The game was 45 minutes long and if you died right at the beginning, you had alot of boredom ahead of you. There needs to be a way to keep the dead players entertained. My decision would be to dedicate one part of the map to them by creating a race track, maze, area to watch the game, etc. Mics would need to be disabled
due to dead players telling others where their enemies are. Then again players can easily just send a message.

Sounds great they could make a forest Map or a Map that looked like Mars with a black sky and stars everywhere for the maps with ordinance drops every 2 mins to increase flow of map and there is one PV hid on the map so it creates a drive to find it and be the guy behind the scenes waiting for a good opportunity

Sounds great but it all really depends on the maps that are released in the game.
