Humans And Elites And Their Weapons Could Still Be In Halo 4 + Story Idea

There are many ways this can work. First off, Master Chief is on a UNSC Frigate. Now, lets forget about that for a moment. There could still be other ways. What if the threat came to Earth/Elite places? Or (the better way this could work) what if the UNSC and Elites picked up Cortana’s signal and go looking for them? They land near the frigate and they uncover the new enemies? This could work like Halo 2’s campaign was. From both John’s perspective and The Arbiter’s. Chief has his supply of weapons from the enemy and the frigate, and Arbiter has his Covenant and UNSC weapons as they fight and look for Chief and Cortana, while maybe doing some other objectives.

Oh, and this:

> > The UNSC and the elites have started a HUGE search for Master Cheif and they come in around half way through the campaign. Before they come in Master Chief gets his weapons and vehicles from ‘Forward unto Dawn’.
>
> Don’t forget, this is a new trilogy, it could be much larger.
>
> Halo 4- Chief gets stranded, finds a new threat, learns about it, blah blah, and during that time, the UNSC and Elites pick up Cortana’s beacon. They land there, find the threat themselves, and they are only defending themselves from the enemy while looking for Chief. You play it Halo 2-style. One story from Chief’s side, the other from Arbiter’s at the same time.
>
> 2nd game- Chief and Cortana find out more about this threat, try to stop it, etc. Towards the end, they find Chief and then he tells them about some massive plan that they need to stop.
>
> 3rd game- They all work at destroying this threat and succeed in the end. Chief and Arbiter can be doing separate things at the same time, so Halo 2 campaign style could apply to the 2nd game and this one.

sounds good i like the idea of a dual campaign like ahlo 2’s however i would like the campaign to feel more lonely from chiefs pov and when all hope of ever leaving the installation is lost somehow his luck kicks in :L and the unsc elite alliance appears on the horizon somehow :stuck_out_tongue:

If the UNSC and elites did find he Cheif, I wouldn’t expect them to actually come in the game till the last level, or maybe the Legendary ending will show a UNSC ship arriving. I dont think they would be there in the very beginning.

Did you not even read?

The story idea sounds great

Maybe he landed on the shield world where onyx is!

> Maybe he landed on the shield world where onyx is!

First off at the end of the friggin book it clearly tells you onyx is destroyed and frankie confrimed it isn’t onyx.

As Deva stated, that planet IS NOT ONYX. Frankie confirmed it… Also, I seriously doubt that UNSC/Covenant will be there at Halo 4…

I think there is a very good chance.

Sure there may be a good chance, but story-telling wise it just doesn’t makes sense. Here is how I see it- You’re Master Chief on an unknown world. You don’t know where you are, and you should feel all alone. That is how the first game should be. The first game you need to be almost completely alone to get the full experience of playing on a mystery planet.

The UNSC or the elites can come in in the second game halfway through. If not there, then very early in the third one. And lets all remember one thing. This is Master Chief’s story. I want them to focus on Master Chief throughout the entire new trilogy.

Besides. The plot for Halo 4 is supposed to center around Cortana. It would to take much away from the story having to tell Cortana’s, Master Chief’s, and the whole of the UNSC and the elites. It would be best intention to focus completely on Cortana and Chief at least in the first one.

I do like the idea of the elites and UNSC being in every of the new games because I love them, but it just wouldn’t feel right. Sadface

Humanity is rebuilding and the Elites are still dealing with what remains with the Covenant, and working out their own place in the galaxy. Neither faction is going to put much, if any, effort into finding the Chief. Also, the fact that they think he’s dead doesn’t help his cause.

Their weapons certainly could be in the game, but I’d rather get my hands on some new Forerunner weapon, or something.

Cortana
Dropped
A
Beacon

And the Encyclopedia says Chief is still missing after 2610. That beacon means nothing.

They can still find it.

So Halo 4 and beyond are set 60 years after Halo 3?

> So Halo 4 and beyond are set 60 years after Halo 3?

Who knows?

Chief could not survive 50 years in cryo in his armor and no supplements to keep him feed. Come on.

> Chief could not survive 50 years in cryo in his armor and no supplements to keep him feed. Come on.

Probably.

Well the Chief could still be lost in 2610 and the story of halo 4 through 6 could happen inbetween and he could get lost again.

Defending themselves is too cliche.

It’s always go there and then go here and defend this, defend that.

I want to go on the offensive. I want to ambush, I want to command a legion, I want to have armies clashing, a 1 vs. 1 sword boss battle and then an all out war like in those H3, H3 ODST real life short films.
