I think we need some different forms of species, a giant millipede maybe? The entire Covenant was full of humanoid figured species, the flood only had three forms that really looked like something different, the turret form, the bug form, and the infection form. It sounds like whether we see precursors or forerunners it sounds like they are both humanoid as well. Humanoid species are the easiest to take seriously so we should always have them but having some species look totally different would be pretty cool and add a LOT to the alien feel.
Should we be fighting Precursors, I would presume the enemy type will be pretty diverse.
In Primordium and other sources Precursors are still described to be humaniod.
We’re on with the Forerunners so I think a Sentinel doesn’t look humanoid. Does it?
