I have a lot of unanswered questions in my mind about the new power weapons system since there is the new drops system PLUS some scatter on the maps? Weird.
But how is the shotty, sword and scattershot going to occupy the same sandbox?
The sword is practically lunge free, which makes ok sense seeing as everyone can sprint and so you just sprint close and stab.
But the shotty always was better b/c you could blast the ****er w/ it w/ perfect timing as he lunged at you with the sword. Still, the lunge close the gap quickly, and its mechanic in H2 made it a challenge at times to perfectly time the shot. At least the sword guy had a chance.
What point does the sword have to its benefit in H4? I imagine shooting the sword user at point blank will be even easier without lunge, while he sprints at you. Will the sword have unlimited battery? This could make it worthy in its own right.
Also, its clear the scattershot is longer range capable then the shotty, with bouncing projectiles as well. Is it just flat out better than the shotty? Or will the shotty have some redeeming quality like deep clip and more ammo? The scattershot looks like 5-6 shots, maybe shotty holds 8-10?
well they’ll probably mess it up like they did in reach, I mean I hope they’ll balance them out but I imagine that the scattershot will be more powerful than the shotty and the shotty more powerful than the sword.

Scattershot has ricochet, shotgun does not. Sword is a melee weapon. There’s going to be balance in that, because of the Scattershots ricochet with the rounds.
