Human Race Inconsistency in Primordium

So I decided to just brush the inconsistency off during my first read-through of Primordium, but going through it again, it starts to bug me.

Chakas (closest resemblance to modern day humans) is actually a Chamanush right? And the smaller of the two, Riser, is the Hamanush correct?

So did they make a mistake by switching the two up in the book? Or am I missing something?

In early chapters, the author mentions about despite the size of the Chamanush, they are admirable or something like that. So should it be Hamanush instead of Chamanush? Being that the Hamanush, Riser, was introduced as small (half Chakas’ height) but intelligible in Cryptum.

Which is which? I’m confused.

Yep, noticed that as well. I guess I’ll just go off with whatever Silentium will say, if anything.

Dang so they haven’t addressed this issue yet?

That’s a good idea.

Greg Bear said here that he would look into it, so it’ll probably be fixed in Silentium and any future editions of either Cryptum or Primordium.

Typo? It’s only off by one letter, so that might be it.
