does anyone know the length of human life in the halo universe?
Due to advances in Human Technology and Medicine i would say 120 years. Admiral Parangosky was in her 80’s and in charge of ONI. The prehistoric humans could live much longer though
Parangosky is 91 in 2553 Actually.
That makes her older than Palpatine.

Well tbh we don’t know. Some humans could be VERY old due to the stasis technology although very unlikely its a possibility.
Shaw and Fujikawa lived up to 100, Parangosky is around that age, in reality, it would probably be around 130, by that time, the body is too weak by age and starts large amounts of deterioration after 115 years old rapidly.
However, the medical technology will tend to prevent people from dying earlier, increasing the age.
Note that this is biological age, and thus not factor in cryo, which stops cellular aging almost completely.

130 seems to be pushing it…
Well I like Parangosky better.
Palpatine likely belongs in an asylum, younger than Parangosky. He and his “evil incarnated ooh oh”!
Parangosky is ready to do what she must for humanity, she does not have the force and yet she scares a lot of people. The quote “no one who has ever crossed her lived” something like that. Scary but she’ll protect you If she likes you.
It’s difficult to estimate lifespan. For example, Johnson was 80 years old but he looked closer to 50 when he died in Halo 3. We know this is due to time spent in cryo. It is likely that Parangosky spent very little time in cryo compared to Johnson. Thus why she is described as being feeble and old while only being ten years or so Johnson’s senior.
While Parangosky is only 93 years old, keep in mind that she holds what would be considered a very stressful and dangerous job. Stress is a big factor when it comes to lifespan. This makes her age all the more impressive and gives us a clue on how long a healthful person in 2553 might live.
Assuming life span on Earth is normally distributed with a mean of 89 years (a reasonable guess) and a standard deviation of 20 years (five years more than today’s SD) then we get these probabilities for living to at least these ages:
130 years = 2%
120 years = 6%
110 years = 14%
100 years = 29%
90 years = 48%
Of course, we have no way to know if this is even remotely accurate but should my assumptions that average lifespan = 89 years with Standard Deviation 20 years be true, then this data would be reasonably accurate.
