so firstly I want to say to the fans who believe 343 are running halo into the ground, look at it this way, at least they are trying and not leaving halo in the dark, it has been said by 343 that they are planning to carry on with the halo franchisee for at least another twenty years! So this even means when halo comes to a end with master chief that still means halo won’t stop, this gives opportunity for spin off and other universes of halo games, like maybe even a halo game based on the time with the forunner vs precursors, elite story lines,and much much more, the games are endless , so halo is going to be around a lot longer thanks to 343, my only message to 343 is take great care of our baby and think long and hard about the story, as halo means the world to us, no quike cuts and simple ideas, make it unique , aswel I believe 343 listen so much, even I have been quilty of not believing that they do, I think they listen the most out of any game company out there,and to the fans please just stay faithful to halo and don’t let a few bugs make you change your mind or a few moments in the story to unplease you, stick with it and have faith,we have many more games to come yet,I just believe halo is going threw a rough patch, so let’s sirport 343 for a change…odst in bound!

See, your argument is akin to that of brain death. Is it better to keep something a twisted shell of what it once was but technically alive, or to let it go and treasure it as it once was?
Having said that, I don’t think Halo 5 is a bastardization. I think there were a lot of rookie mistakes, and there’s no excusing the bulk of updates being launch content from the past that didn’t make it into launch, but they’re showing signs of learning from their mistakes. Maybe I won’t have to keep hitting them when Halo 6 launches.

I agree, Halo forums have a nasty habit of getting really negative. So it’s good to see a positive post, thanks.
I’m gonna try and keep things positive, so instead of saying how multiplayer isn’t that fun for me anymore, does anyone know a close to exact time when warzone firefight will be released? I had so much fun in the beta, and I don’t know if 343 has a leak on that yet.
I am a Halo addict and I am glad the franchise is still going. Sure they have done stuff I didn’t like but so did Bungie. If you just play and concentrate on the positives and not get so hung up on the negatives Halo is great. I am glad they change things up from game to game. I don’t want the same game repackaged and sold to me. I love that there is more to the Halo universe than the games as well. What other franchise has movies, books, comics and even it’s own channel full of stuff on Xbox one. Halo is just the best gaming experience period.
I will do everything in my power to stay faithful. In the name of The Meta, I shall.

Unfortunately, a plan to keep Halo around for 20 years depend on if there’s a playerbase around and the next Halo games actually making a good profit.
Even then, with i343’s vague statements about what they’re doing, it is entirely possible Halo 6 could be the last Halo game we’d ever play, after that it could be books, movies and comics to continue the franchise. No, it most likely won’t be like that, but it’s entirely possible that the game side might end and we’ll have other media of Halo instead.

343i doesn’t dictate the market; its the other way around as proven by H5’s fall in popularity. Many people have moved on and 343i cannot bring them back. I made no mention of CoD because I don’t care about that franchise but its been reported that they are suffering from the same problem. However, CoD has a larger player base and is a multi-platform game which means the devs can keep on putting CoD games out and still generate an excess of revenue. The margins for Halo are slimmer.

Microsoft already needs to step in IMO… they need to replace 343 or get some competent people working there. MCC was never fully fixed sure it works for most but still plenty of bugs… H5 isn’t without it’s issues as well. Unstable servers and bugs hear and there… with this last update I get no sound at the start of some warzone matches and very time after darkstar… if They truly want Halo to last they really need to step up quality big time.

They just need to drop these gimmicky Spartan abilities and sprint, and only after that, will the population start to come back.
