So I started installing my Halo 5 in the morning and it was done downloading less than an hour. Then there’s an update for the game so I started downloading it and I wait for about ten minutes after 1% and it still hasn’t went to 2%, I waited for another 3 minutes and then it finally hit 2%. It’s been 2 hours and it’s only at 20%. This update is bigger then the game itself! I’m literally the only one on my Internet. I also use an extender so I use 2gext.
If you are new to H5, then the update you are downloading is most likely the “cartographer’s gift”. It’s essentially forge and some other goodies.

It will be the Day one patch, Btb, and Cartographers all in one. It’s like 16 gigs total.
Yeah, it technically shouldn’t take you longer than downloading the game. I would try cancelling the download if you’re still at a low percentage and trying again.

It’s a big update. Do you have a friend’s connection that is faster? Use it!
