So i was thinking to myself “i really want a gritty campaign with fun and dynamic gameplay” and i thought to myself with cod and battlefield featuring some type of large scale combined arms gamemode why can’t Halo? Just imagine capture the flag but the enemy team starts in some ragged FOB with tanks and Phantoms and the defending team starts inside a Marine base with little armament but with defenses and sentry guns add little 4-9 man AI teams that fight in the middle and add forge support and BOOM! now of course for big maps you need bigger vehicles so the UNSC would probably have pelicans, falcons and the nightingale now i just want to talk about the nightingale for a sec. The nightingale is criminally underated imagine the nightingale its completely unarmed maybe players can shoot out the back hatch but when the nightingale lands you can unload a package depending on the variant it could be a Ammo box or medical supplies or my favorite a respawn point now the banished would get a thing like this too maybe a ammo wraith idk but back to the gamemode i think there would be equipment like a flare or beacon and when you droped it a randomized AI squad would drop by randomized i mean 4-9 like i said before so if your pinned down by some hunters drop a assist beacon we’ll call it and if your UNSC maybe a spartan fireteam will be deployed by a falcon or a squad of ODSTs or even just a random marine squad and for the banished you’ll get elite team, brute squad, squad lead by elite, squad lead by brute or maybe brute drop pods also random pelicans and phantoms will drop off the AI squads i mentioned earlier and the hunters will probably be very rare and wont be able to be spawned by an assist beacon y’all have any thoughts do you agree or disagree? and yes i know this is very unlikely
I saw that in the menus on the flight it would say, in the fire team space (1/28) so 14v14 might be a thing at least for BTB.
I think 343 is up to something great for us and we won’t be disappointed.
