HUD still not showing secondary

So whats up with the HUD still not showing the secondary weapon? If I remember well, Frankie said that it had to do something with the build, and it will be fixed later, but the game has gone gold, and still nothing.

Lol what, how does he know what we need?

I always know what my secondary is but, i still think they should show it.

I think that once Halo 3 introduced this that it should stick to it. He knows a lot, but he doesn’t know everything.

There have been moments when I have a BR and I find a shotgun but make it secondary so I can use it for more close encounters, then I forget I had it after being alive for a long time. It’s that stuff that will surely annoy us.

Aw, i actually used it all the time, and it used barley any UI space, meanwhile they think it is necessary to shove a big blue banner on your screen telling you you’re holding the flag. Makes no sense.

I never said he knows everything. I do think the removal of the secondary icon will make me paranoid :frowning:

No biggie. Pretty sure I’ll be able to remember what my secondary is. If for some reason I can’t…/presses Y “Oh, Okay” /presses Y

It’s already been confirmed we will not see our secondary weapon.
As has been mentioned, something about people should be able to remember and the fact that so many of the gun silhouettes look similar, it just proved to be non-essential.
We probably will miss it at first, but then adjust accordingly.

who actually looks up there to see what secondary you have? I use my brain it remembers stuff for me like my secondary weapon, what grenades I have, and even where I am more likely to kill someone on a map

If I need to remember what my secondary is I’ll just switch out to it and then back… It would only take me a couple seconds. I’ve honestly never relied on the HUD weapons display for anything other than ammo count, and even then the guns themselves sometimes display that for me. :confused:

Too right.

Just…Switch? It’s not hard and takes seconds.

I’ll adapt, but it was a bad decision. Good for splitscreen, but terrible for single players. I guess it adds to the skillgap, but in the heat of battle you’d like those little cues to remind you what you’re holding.

I really don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Should improve your memory skills for all you old farts. :smiley:

But yet we need grenade indicators, arrows to tell us where weapons are and all sorts of other pointless things on the screen.

I don’t think this is a big deal.

Press Y to see your secondary weapon. Staring at HUD for the secondary basicly takes the same time.
