I wanted to bring a new idea to the Halo Infinite forums that I thought would be cool to discuss. While Halo 5 was lacking in specific armour customization leaving only the head and body to pick from, it also intronuced some very new and welcome customization options. Many of which I hope will return. It gave us more options with weapon skins, plenty of new stances, choices for assasanations, and the ability to change the announcer’s voice. If 343 planned to expand in any other areas I thought that the HUD visor colour would be a really fun option. I don’t feel it would be too complecated to implement if they or fans liked this idea, and it’d bring a new feel to the personalization of your Spartan. This would be something obvious to you during every match and it’s not gonna have an impact on the gameplay. I’m curious to hear your guy’s thoughts.
I think HUD customisation is a good idea all around. Why just colours ? If I’m using my Elite controller it would be great to adjust the HUD to match. Grenades top left of HUD if assigned to left bumper etc.
Doom Eternal set the bar for UI customization in FPS games. Newer games should definitely have its level of adjustements.

DOOM Eternal’s UI customisation is excellent. Halo Infinite could definitely benefit from taking inspiration from it imo.

Agreed. Honestly, just in general Halo has always lacked when it came to the game settings. It’s always been at like a bare minimum. Kind of wanna make that a topic now. Lol Anywho, it never crossed my mind till now, but Doom would be an excellent example.
