Hi, I made a support ticket on the Halo Support website and it told me I’d be better off posting this bug here, so here goes:
"Hero" Respawning is glitched and inconsistent between host and clients (MCC HR Firefight)
Description
In the original game on the Xbox 360 (and in MCC ODST Firefight), when there are no lives left and some players die, they are all supposed to respawn when a wave ends. In MCC right now, this only works for the host; if the host is dead and there is no lives left at the end of the wave, the host will respawn; if anyone else is dead at that time, they will not respawn at the end of the wave. This gives the host a gameplay advantage.
Repro Steps
Enter Halo Reach Firefight with no lives (edit the game settings, set “lives” to zero) with 2 or more players in co-op. Have the host die, then end the wave. They will respawn as they should. Have the other player(s) die, and then end the wave. They will NOT respawn when they should.
Repro Rate: Always (100%)
Again, this does not occur in MCC ODST firefight (or X360 ODST FF), or in the original version of Halo Reach or the Backwards Compatability version of HR on the Xbox One. This glitch always happens in MCC on PC and most likely MCC on Xbox as well.
