I’ve noticed it’s been down, and while I realize it might come back up, what usually happens after cod comes out?
Well normally the true Halo fans come back. But since Halo 4 multiplayer is just a clone( a bad one at that), of CoD - why would they come back?
Halo 4 will most likely fade away online, and to be honest that is exactly what 343 deserves.
Maybe it’ll rebound after some TU/ or more people purchase the game over the holiday season.
Wait for Holiday season. Or just a week. CoD sucked this year, so it’ll balance out soon.

WTF?! Loads playing online, this game is a hit from what I can tell, and I personally think it’s refreshed Halo. COD doesn’t excite me one bit, Halo 4 does. I don’t get this copying, they aren’t the same.

They’re under from 400000 at peak time to just over 100000… yeah, what a hit.
It may not show the total amount of players on a given day, but peak time is where it matters imo. Reach had about 800k online at the same time during its first days, sad to see it dropping so fast for Halo 4. Then again the game does have some issues atm where some players cant even play online at all etc.
whoever says this is a clone of COD is an idiot, Ive played both franchises for a long time and gameplay isnt even close. COD is more about spawntraps, headglitches and killstreaks. Halo is more about teamshooting, headshots and map control. There is no such thing as spray and pray in Halo, and there is no such thing as vehicles spawns in COD (excluding WaW game modes)
