I played last night randomly and I did not know about the Weapon Update.
After feeling kinda weird about some of the fights I went online to find out that there was an update.

Im wondering how the Carbine stacks up against the improved BR and DMR now?
Also is the LR even relevant in competitive play? If so is it just on long range maps?
Just curious.

While I haven’t used it myself, some other people have used it effectively. I think a skilled person could easily kill someone who uses the br with it.
I can say i really like the new carbine, it will wreck a DMR user at medium range and can hold its own against the BR.

Does it kill faster than the BR or DMR but with worse accuracy?

Carbine is a headshot beast. It can take out BR easy, and for team-shooting it will likely get you the kill over other players, but it’s only effective if you can land headshots. And it’s not that hard in scoped or unscoped.
I run Fire Power with a Carbine + AR combo with ammo.
Carbine has a slightly slower kill time than the BR now. Personally, I think it should be slightly faster to kill since it’s easier to miss shots when you’re jamming the trigger. With that said, it can actually compete with the other rifles now, which is much better than before.
DMR’s red reticle range was reduced slightly and the LR’s was increased to match this. The LR zoomed fire-rate was increased and the unzoomed was slightly decreased, so it’s even less effective at close-range. It absolutely dominates at long-range now.
Carbine kills 0.03 secs slower and if you have a good strafe and aim its the best rifle.

It can do A LOT more than just clean up 
The actual changes to the Carbine are:
> - The Carbine damage has been increased. The Carbine is now capable of killing in seven rounds.
> - The Carbine accuracy has been increased (projectile spread decrease).
> - The Carbine red reticle range has been decreased.

I played a few games with the carbine and it does seem a lot better.
I also tried the BR out.
In my opinion the BR is a little bit easier to use. It seems more forgiving.
However the carbine seems better at midrange than the BR to me.
Maybe its just my playstyle/strafe.
LR still isnt very good but I havent used it on any large maps yet.

Where do you find the updated weapon kill times? I’m really curious about them and have been searching here and there for the data, but can’t seem to find it. Mind sharing a link if you have it?

Me too! Very fun loadout to use. Add thrusters in there and its been my favorite loadout ive had in a while.
It is AMAZING! I always play 1v1s with my friend and I never thought I’d be beating him consistently carbine vs BR. BR is still my favorite, but Carbine may soon become my go-to.

Not sure on the actual times, but I know the comparison goes like this from fastest to slowest:
Scoped Light Rifle
Battle Rifle
Carbine
DMR
Unscoped Light Rifle
