How you can help 343i make Halo better

So in my time on the halo waypoint forums, I’ve been mainly spending most of it reporting bugs and such, and felt like maybe it would be worth trying to get others to do the same. I’m trying to at least make some presence here as a person who helps the community, and I want the best for the franchise as a whole.

So how can you help 343 make Halo better? This is a question I never get asked, but have decided to answer anyway, for my pleasure.

Bug reporting. It is the main thing to do, this can be anything, if it’s not intended, or it’s just blatantly broken, then report it on the support site. You immediately flag it up for someone to check out, and for all you know, you may be the only person to report the bug you find.

So report any issues, even in flights. Report, report, report.

Other than that, just being helpful in the community is also a great way to make the experience better, for others and yourself.

Brown nosing. Don’t do that, nobody likes that.

Help people with challenges, post on the forums, help build the community.

If you are a forge master, make a map and try getting it into matchmaking (I’m pretty sure you get a neat profile card for that)

Yeah, just basic stuff like that.
But the most important thing of all, just be you baby, coz you’re perfect just the way you are.

Until next time

They don’t like it when people report things that are already on the ‘known list’, so it’s best to check that out prior to making one.

Yes, and it’s important to know the difference between a RANT and CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK.

343i is in charge of making the games, we are in charge of supporting and constructing the ideas for the games. (Positively)

Too bad they don’t actually care about your feedback or your bug reports. They send you a generic copy and paste message of anything they can’t or have no interest in fixing. I send a bug report to halo support and they tell me to tell the forums and the forums tell me to tell halo support and the loop goes on.

Look the support process is definitely more than a little messy. But, uh, which side of a ghost is the correct side to get out? That doesn’t sound like a bug.

Edit: Just had a peep at the support forums, and yeah there are some strange issues being redirected back to Waypoint. That’s a strange process.

If I am trying to leave a ghost on the right side but the game has me get out on the left side then that is a bug. Read what I said in the ticket again.

This isn’t the place to start popping off.

I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience with the ticket system for the support team, but please try and post more positive feedback.
