Ok, Halo 4 was just created and you were promoted head of 343.
How would YOU make Halo 5?
Ok, Halo 4 was just created and you were promoted head of 343.

Without retconning the entire story, here is what I would do:
Follow the marketing that originally occurred for the current Halo 5. Don’t call it Halo 5, just Halo Guardians. Keep Chief in a limited role and don’t show his side of the story until the end (if at all). That means shuffle the levels so that we don’t have the big Cortana reveal in level 2, and instead make the eventual reveal more natural by building it up and giving her motivations that make sense. Make it an ACTUAL mystery, but keep it as a side story.
In conjunction with that, have a true Halo 5 ready to announce as a full fledged Halo game. Keep the multiplayer the same between the two games, just add additional multiplayer content with the new game. It can release a year or two down the road using the same engine, and be fully focused on Chief’s narrative.

That’s actually really cool! I like it.
At a high level, delay the game by a year or two so it doesn’t feel so unpolished and doesn’t lack features on launch.
Campaign decisions were misguided, but multiplayer was planned to be predatory and unsatisfying. So I’d really take a look at different ways to monetize that wouldn’t make players think they walked into a new Vegas casino. The REQ system makes every aspect of multiplayer and every decision about multiplayer significantly worse.
I would release it with the original script it as SUPPOSED to have before the quote-unquote “author” known as Brian Reed messed with the whole dynamic of it all. The original script, from what I was able to piece together based on interviews, concept art, and the lore that was supposed to lead up to the game was going to be as follows :
PART ONE
Spartan Blue Team was on a mission. Master Chief still had Cortana’s AI chip stuck in his head whenever on missions, never wanting to feel like she was fully gone. Well it turns out a small fragment left behind from her rampancy splitting herself apart into fractal copies of herself had managed to restore itself enough to access certain files and systems within the AI chip. Thus, this small piece of Cortana learned about something that she had forgotten and managed to contact John and the rest of Blue Team via surfacing from her AI chip and struggling to speak through their comms systems.
Cortana reveals that she is still alive, somewhat, but she cannot remain active for long (similar to how GLaDOS in Portal 2 wasn’t able to do much as a potato battery). She manages to let out that she knows how to truly restore herself and cure her rampancy for good. Blue Team finishes their mission and returns to the UNSC Infinity. Fragment Cortana is jacked into a private server they managed to disconnect from the main systems in order to privately talk to Cortana. With better hardware, she is able to remain stable enough to reveal what needs to be done in order to restore herself.
Blue Team’s mission throughout the game is to locate and save Dr. Halsey from Jul 'Mdama, in order to get a DNA sample and a fresh brain-scan of Catherine for reference as a base for her AI to flourish within. Another thing they have to locate is the means of reactivating the Ark Portal on Earth. Doing so would allow them to return to The Ark and locate Medicant Bias, a Forerunner AI that had betrayed The Forerunners for the Flood eons ago. He was actually the reason you ended up in Requiem since in Halo 3, he redirected your slip-space jump to have you delivered to what he believed to be an enlightened Didact to prove that he was no longer corrupt and rampant. Cortana believes that Mendicant Bias holds the answer to curing her condition.
Roland has actually been listening in the whole time and has not alerted the UNSC Infinity, and even provides them with a means of escaping; knowing there was no way that anyone would sanction Chief to do such a mission; given the risks posed. But Roland wants a cure to Rampancy, a condition he would suffer from eventually and he knows that if anyone out there could make such a mission successful, it would be John-S117. So, John goes AWOL in a Prowler docked in the UNSC Infinity. And this is where the story shifts to Jameson Locke’s perspective.
SIDENOTE
Originally, Fireteam Osiris was going to be made up of Locke, Vale, Tanaka, and Gabriel Thorne from Spartan Ops. Thorne was likely to be in the story because of Jul’s involvement and his experience with Jul himself. But sadly, Brian Reed rewrote the story to remove Thorne. This was because Spartan Ops was not well received, and he decided to do the sin of writing that is killing off a major antagonist that fans like at the beginning of the next arc to quickly rip in a new villain character. At least we got Edward Buck. But I propose that Fireteam Osiris be slightly different.
Given the mission that they are about to embark on, and the fact that Roland had to feed ONI something to not make him seem part of their conspiracy they made; he informed them of what Master Chief was planning, albeit leaving out the part with Cortana and just going out to rescue Dr. Halsey; claiming to not know how Blue Team got intel on her existence. So, ONI puts Jameson Locke on the mission and he assembles a specialized team. Olympia Vale is there because she is a Sangheilian specialist of culture and linguistics, Gabriel Thorne is on the team because of his past experience with Jul and Dr. Halsey, and Edward Buck is part of the team due to a recommendation by Veronica Dare on how reliable and dedicated he can be to his mission and the team; citing the events of Halo 3 ODST as an example of his character.
Osiris begins the Hunt for the Master Chief, their primary lead being the last known location of Jul 'Mdama. This will lead to an encounter where Blue Team and Osiris first meet. Jul escapes with Catherine thanks to the meddling of Fireteam Osiris. And then Osiris gets their dignity smashed as Blue Team bests them in combat and then flees right as a massive Forerunner device erupts from the ground; interrupting their fight by creating a canyon between the two groups.
Players resume the role of Blue Team as they travel to Sangheilios for a favor. John offers Thel Vadam a few assists with victories against the Covenant Remnants and in turn Jul gets his location hunted down by Thel’s men. A couple missions on Sangheilios later, and John finally learns the location of Jul ‘Mdama, on a glassed UNSC colony : Meridian. We return to Fireteam Osiris’ perspective as they have a lead on John’s whereabouts as Covenant are talking about UNSC supporting the Sangheilian Civil War. ONI doesn’t like this and Osiris is sent in to investigate. A couple fights with Covenant and Thel finally meets with Osiris, revealing that yes he assisted his old friend, but wasn’t aware that he was acting as a rogue soldier. Thel is hesitant at revealing where John went, but still reveals it none-the-less as indeed his interference has made the civil war a bit more harder to fight as others are siding against his swords. The Arbiter seeks a unified Sangheilian people, not one who are still blind to the reality of their faith.
Osiris makes their way to Meridian, and faces heavy Covenant and Promethean resistance. Eventually, they catch up with John and the rest of Blue Team, nearly besting them in combat. But the near death of John is interrupted by Jul attacking, forcing the two teams to cooperate for the time being out of necessity. This is when Osiris learns of Fragment Cortana’s existence and learn that Master Chief is acting against orders to revive one of his dearest friends. Eventually, the teams are forced apart once again, with Jul targeting his anger and rage more at Osiris due to the presence of Gabriel Thorne. John manages to secure Dr. Halsey and escape, not noticing a robed figure looming over the battle; bright orange eyes peering through the cloak.
John manages to escape with Dr. Halsey and makes plans to take hold of a facility used to make AIs for the UNSC. They intend to use this facility to make a DNA scan of Catherine and a brain-scan in order to restore the template that Cortana was based off of. This would allow for a more stable fix, but nowhere near as permanent a fix as they would hope. This merely ensures that Fragment Cortana is much more stable and less glitchy, but she will be still susceptible to rampancy and will deteriorate further if they do not find a solution soon. However, an alert has sounded at the base, detecting fugitives being Dr. Halsey and the members of Blue Team. Their escape leads them into the city, and an encounter with Osiris as Locke had predicted that they would give the facility a visit.
Please Wait for PART 2
PART TWO
John manages to escape once again, his armor damaged. But Dr. Halsey is no longer in their possession, Osiris having captured their optional VIP. She reveals what John is up to and what they are after. And that since Cortana has a fresh brain-scan of Dr. Halsey, they now know of the Janus Key and where Jul has his half hidden. (I know that the Janus Key was destroyed in a comic book, but that is because Brian Reed doesn’t know how to use MacGuffins in writing; so I say it is still something to be found and reunited with it’s other half). Locke brings Dr. Halsey into UNSC custody once again and makes a request to transfer the Janus Key from the secured ONI facility it is housed in to the UNSC Infinity (Though that isn’t revealed to the players…yet…)
John returns to Sangheilios and finds that he is not the most welcome of parties. Thel states that John’s actions are against the interests of his own people and has made his war very difficult to manage. John makes an offer. He will take the fight to Jul 'Mdama himself. The Arbiter states that where Jul hides is a closely guarded secret. At which point Cortana reveals herself to The Arbiter and states that thanks to a certain hotfix, she knows just about everything that Jul was foolish enough to not hide from Dr. Halsey. Thel states that he is elated to see that she has been restored, and asks where Jul is located. The answer is Sunion.
And so the Battle of Sunion begins, with the Swords of Sangheilios managing to rally an army to crush the leadership of the Covenant Remnant underneath his Size 24 Hoof. John and Arbiter are side by side again in a fight against a sturdy opposition. And just as they get to the point of the boss fight agianst Jul, Blue Team is distracted by a voice in their heads. A familiar voice that John and Cortana dread to hear. They split off from The Arbiter. This leads to a unique portion of the game where you play as The Arbiter himself in a final assault on Jul’s compound and have a boss-battle duel atop Sunion’s Citadel! (Yes, this means my version of Halo 5 would have playable Elites once again. And no, they aren’t the 343 stylized elites but rather the Blur studios stylized elites.) The mission ends with The Arbiter drawing his Prophet’s Bane, and piercing Jul just as he did Truth. Jul’s dying words are a warning of Humanity, their ONI who would betray the pact they made at the close of The Great Schism. Arbiter retorts that he puts his trust in his brother clad in green, not ONI.
Perspective returns to John and Blue Team as they are redirected to another section of Sunion. Fighting through Covenant AND Prometheans, even defeating the Cavalier; they find the source of the voice… The Didact !
He is still alive, but mangled by the grenade of Halo 4’s lackluster finale. He has been guarding over Jul’s half of The Janus Key, claiming that he has seen the error of his ways and seen the truth of his wife’s philosophy. When John and Cortana question him as to why then Prometheans are attacking them, The Didact explains that they are no longer in his control. They were the tools of Jul 'Mdama, and he has no chance of regaining their command with the loss of Requiem. He explains that Jul sees him as a tool to keep his seat of power, claiming to be “The Didact’s Hand” has given him many followers to his cult. But alas, he was unwilling to reveal the location of the second half of The Janus Key to Jul. But Cortana is able to see where it lies.
Blue Team celebrates victory with The Arbiter and then departs for a top secret ONI facility, Euclid’s Eye, in order to retrieve the orange-half of The Janus Key. Blue Team performs non-lethal takedowns and such as they move through the facility with stealth, not wanting to bring harm to their own allies even though they are AWOL fugitives. Plus raising the alarm is never a good idea when doing a heist. But it turns out that Locke was a step ahead of them. He has removed their target asset from the facility and hidden it away. Another fight with Osiris begins and it seems to be a sort of stalemate. Sure John won the brawl, but he has no idea where the Key half is and Locke has interrogation resistance training. But they do have a secret weapon. John inserts Cortana’s chip into Locke’s helmet. She forcibly reads his mind while also simultaneously attempting to force him to be sympathetic to what John feels and what they are trying to do.
John removes Cortana and reinserts her into his helmet. Osiris is incapacitated by their armor lockup modules being turned against them and Blue Team leaves. ONI Operatives free Osiris and begin to make chase. Blue Team is about to invade the UNSC Infinity. Replicating Locke’s voice and credentials, they are let on board the Infinity. The alarm is then sounded when they are spotted, but not many Spartans want to act against John. They still see him and Blue Team as heroes. Perspective returns to Locke as he returns to Infinity for real and begins to chase down Blue Team. Roland gives them the run-around for a while, revealing to Osiris that he is afraid of Rampancy and doesn’t want to be shut down within a few years. Locke forces him to be cooperative with the phrase “Undone Iridium”, and finally begins to trail Blue Team, though Spartan IVs are resisting them! Some out of loyalty to John and others due to Roland having sent out orders to apprehend Fireteam Osiris.
Blue Team manages to obtain The Janus Key’s orange-half, having incapacitated the few defenders that resisted them. He has escaped again in a Prowler, but they know where they are heading. Using the Janus Key, John was able to learn where the means to reactivating the Ark Portal of Earth lie. Heading for the Jiralhanae homeworld of Doisac, John intends to jump-start the Key Ship there and use it to reactivate The Ark Portal and return to where the last war ended. Locke gives chase once agian, having coaxed the answer out of Roland with the override phrase.
Blue Team lands on Doisac, and finds themselves oddly welcomed by some of the Brutes there. It turns out that when he killed off Truth, some of them grew wise to the lies and a small cult had begun surrounding the “Divinity of Humanity”. However, Covenant Remnants still exist and conduct guerrilla warfare. John’s presence there has caused an attack to begin. But he quells it soon enough. He then moves on to The Key Ship. And again, Fireteam Osiris is there right behind them. The Key Ship begins to take off, but not before something erupts form the ground… a Guardian?
Fireteam Osiris has to contend with hostile Brutes, Prometheans, and a boss battle with a Warrior-Sphinx. The Didact reveals himself to Locke via hologram, stating that he will not interfere with what the foolish Human is doing. It is here that The Didact reveals to the players that he is still corrupt and stubborn in his misguided vengeance on Humanity, revealing that he intends to trick John into re-opening the gateway to The Ark. With the forge located within, he could craft a new Halo installation and bring about the end of Humanity; deeming them even unworthy enough to serve a Prometheans. He then departs with his Guardian. Osiris survives the onslaught of Prometheans and departs from Doisac, heading for Earth in the hopes to stop Blue Team.
Part Three will continue…soon… I have work to do soon so I will keep you posted.
Hope you guys like what I have done so far!

> - Completely rewrite the story so it’s actually more consistent with Halo 4’s ending and not a bad story this time around - Have way more missions with Blue Team and allow the player to pick any one of the four Spartans even in solo - Add per-piece armor customization like in the previous games but extend it to include the techsuit - Add a secrets counter to the campaign to encourage exploration and searching for secrets in the missionsAnd many many more to improve the game.
You are gunna LOOOOOOVE what I have in store in Part 4 when it comes to the Armory. I got an excel spreadsheet and EVERYTHING
EDIT : Part 5, because I just drafted part 3 of the story only to have it be spilling out into Part 4 due to the word count limit.
I am speaking just on the Multiplayer bit as that is all I play (I came from Playstation, and have not been able to play any Halo campaign due to the achilles grind).
General Multiplayer changes
Actually listen to the pros/competitive crowd and implement the HCS settings off the start for ranked game play. - Ground pound/Spartan charge will be tuned to deal no damage and instead serve as movement abilities. Those abilities are only available in casual playlists - Automatics are removed from all playlists save fiesta - Ungoof the H5 BR, simplify its reticle. - Lessen the DMR Bullet Magnetism by a smidge - Motion Tracker is disabled, HCS settings radar applied across the board. - Try to figure out what causes heavy aim and prevent that from ever being a thing - BR starts in Casual playlists, Magnum starts in all Ranked playlists - HCS settings for all Ranked playlists (it’s ranked, the “Get good” mantra applies - Offer a “Simple Reticle” option, similar to doom 2016. For the magnum, you would only have the inner circle, the BR would have a more classic reticle. - Introduce an actual Sword parry mechanic for the energy sword - Melee damage is tuned to be a three melee beatdown.Matchmaking Changes
(Based on the assumption of a full, healthy, new player population)
The Hidden MMR values are removed from all Social playlists. This would provide match variety in casual scenarios, and consistent, competitive matches in Ranked without one playlist influencing the other. - MMR/CSR should be unified in Ranked. No need for two differing MM ratings in a ranked environment, the current system leads to ranks not being equatable between players (Me being D2 in comp doubles with a 60-70% win rate vs my random being D2 with a 48% win rate). - Remove the MM assumption that skill is transferrable between playlists, every playlist should have it’s own rating - independent of others. - Lobby balancing will not be done by averaging team elo, but by staggering players (1,3,5,7 vs 2,4,6,8) - Players in the Gold skill level (Possibly up to low plat) and below will not be able to queue with or against Diamond level players - Seasonal Rank resets only occur for Diamond 3 and above (though this should be discussed with the competitive community). D3 is used as the point due it being the H5 equivalent of a 50 Trueskill. - 0-50 System implemented instead of Bronze- Champ. - At 50 Trueskill, have 50 Diamond 6-1, 50 Onynx, 6-1, 50 Champ 200-11 (Effectively the Diamond 3 - Champion level ranks) - The top 10 Champs are provided the Status of “Grand Master/ Grand Champion” - Team Matching is set to on, as in if you are in a team of 4, you will play another team of at least 2 duos, 1 team of 3 + a high skill solo, or another team of 4. The only time four solos can match a pre-made is if all the Solos are of a higher/equivalent rank/Skill than the highest ranked player on the pre-made, and this should be during low population times only. - Introduce a “maintain team/Keep team” feature for system match made teams.
Playlist Changes

I like it, pretty cool ideas!
The things I would do if I were to make Halo 5:
-Not bring back Cortana
-More missions as Blue Team
-Didact returns
-Remove Spartan Charge, Ground Pound, and Thrusters, so you would be left with Sprint, Slide, and Clamber
-Reach-level customization with more options (tech suits, legs, arms, etc)
-Add Playable Elites with per-piece customization and make the MP Elites/Arbiter/SoS Elites more classic looking, which would add onto the whole sub-species thing. Elites would be locked in Ranked modes
-Not kill off Jul 'Mdama at the start of the game
-Arbiter and Chief reunion extended (would not be saved for a book)
-No REQ Packs, which means no Warzone. You would unlock items by progressing through the game
-Make Forge less complex, but still have a lot of Forge items and have Forge be there at launch
-Replace Warzone with Invasion
-Have all core game modes at launch, delay the game if I had to
-No Warden Eternal or just have him for one boss fight
-Boss fights that are NOT just Warden Eternal fights
-More blood
-Make new assassinations on AIs instead of just reusing the H4 AI assassinations
-Not nerf the Battle Rifle
I would incorporate movement acceleration as a boost that can be wielded like thrusters in combination with inertia and make it smooth and multi directional… Even vertical. So you can have custom speed strafing with the timing of your boost.
Sprint in all directions at differing speeds.
Custom super sprints with the added movement acceleration.
Lower crouch with head duck to make ghandi hops more advantageous
Duel wielding
Smg and br with no rcoil start
Clamber with speed clamber with acceleration
And that’s about as much onyx I can throw out to the crowd…
Mic drop

No and No lol. Make the game more competitive, not easier to play.

And then we get the problem that Halo 5 had where the population nose dived after two years. More competitive game = Balanced = Higher skill gap = More fun. Just because some people cannot aim straight does not mean the rest of the game should suffer. Sure make Dual wielding an option in customs, but that is where it should stay.
All I have to do is point to the HCS playlists/ Pro players opinions on game balance as to why Magnum > BR Starts. Automatics do not work in this game in any competitive sense. Noob bait crap does not = Fun
So it has been a bit and I am now going to draft and post
PART THREE
Fireteam Osiris boards their prowler and leaves Doisac to regroup with the UNSC Infinity and inform them of what has just happened, hoping to intercept Blue Team at Earth. Blue Team is en route to Earth, and when they portal out of slip space, they are below the MAC Defensive Perimeter and have the UNSC Infinity heading off the fleet for approach! Cortana is able to put the shields into overdrive and sets an autopilot course to dock the ship onto the Ark Portal platform. As they prepare for a potential boarding action, an unknown Forerunner entity arrives in system and smashes through the MAC Defensive Perimeter as if they weren’t there. Before Cortana could finish the scan of what it was, they are suddenly accosted by Prometheans. The Sentinels on board provide much needed assistance as Blue Team try to clean house, but the Prometheans just don’t let up. The only option remaining is to teleport out of The Ark and onto the surface.
Cortana teleports Blue Team out of The Ark, still installed into The Key Ship’s systems. It was an act of desperation that required quick action. As they are fizziling away, The Didact teleports into the , which fades to black and proceeds to the next chapter. Blue Team finds themselves in the partially glassed ruins of Malindi, and they see a massive Forerunner construct hanging over the Key Ship. Soon, a pelican drops in and drops off Fireteam Osiris. Blue Team gets ready for another fight, but Fireteam Osiris doesn’t raise their weapons. Locke explains what had just happened, that The Didact is still alive, and that he has been manipulating Blue Team to complete his own objectives. Locke says that he is not there to bring John into custody. Given the gravity of the situation at hand, and John’s past experience on The Ark; he wants to take him to the fight against the Didact. He also feels sympathy, especially after Cortana was in his head and provided some context to what John was going through internally.
The Ark Portal activates, Blue Team returns with Fireteam Osiris to the Infinity and they go through the portal into No Man’s Land : Installation 00. They arrive and are immediately accosted by the Forerunner construct that Dr. Halsey refers to as The Guardian. Apparently had some plans in their early stages of hunting these down and using them in the war. Spartan Fireteams board pelicans and condors, with Blue Team and Osiris now working together in their planned assault on The Keyship. Swap between the perspectives of Fireteam Osiris and Blue Team as you each sweep-and-clear separate portions of the Forerunner Dreadnought; Blue Team in search of Cortana and The Didact while Osiris attempts to sabotage the engines to render the ship obsolete since they don’t need it for the return trip back. John reunites with Cortana, and she is worse for wear. She claims the Didact did something to her, but she is unsure what exactly it was; unable to recall the details of their interaction.
The two teams escape The Key Ship, the Didact was nowhere to be found and the ship now adrift into dark space, set to go supernova once a safe distance from the The Ark and their upcoming fight. Blue Team and Osiris take a pelican down to the surface and to the Cartographer. There, they extrapolate the locations of two targets : Mendicant Bias and The Didact… oddly enough, it appears that The Didact is approaching Mendicant’s prison? They move in to intercept, finding a war between Prometheans and something regarded as Prefects. It turns out that the warden over Mendicant’s imprisonment, Offensive Bias, is not to allow anyone to release let alone meet with Mendicant Bias. The Diadact himself was not exempt from this rule, so now there is a three force skirmish between The Didact, Offensive, and our Spartans. Eventually, they tackle the greatest of the Prefects, known as The Warden. (Yes the Warden Eternal makes his reappearance, but this is the only time you fight him and he has some new tricks up his sleeve.)
Our Spartans break through the defensive opposition and find themselves nearing the actual prison of Mendicant and The Didact. It is here that The Didact reveals his plans to our heroes as they face against some Promethean and Prefect forces, even some Covenant have arrived through the still open Ark Portal. The Didact intends to secure The Ark as his new base of operations, what with Requiem and The Mantle’s Approach being destroyed. From here, he intends to fine tune the Halo Array so that it only targets Humanity, stating that the other species will fall in line and he will pass on The Mantle to a proper successor race… and if there are none? He will simply have to recreate his people, although likely in his own twisted rendition as he interpreted The Mantle of Responsibility. Before they could actually catch up to The Didact, he disappeared; teleportating away as the players approached.
John finally meets with Mendicant, who apologizes for having caused this; recalling that he had adjusted their slip-space portal at the end of Halo 3 to lead John to The Didact. He believed that after such a long time of meditation, he too would have come around to be one with a sound mind and reason. But instead, he inadvertently reawakened a nightmare. John presents Cortana, showing how damaged she is. Mendicant explains some confusion, seeing the damaged Ancillia once before. John expresses his confusion at first, but realizes what Mendicant was here for. He made a copy of Cortana and had Mendicant restore her. He likely didn’t know that John had a fragment of her. Apparrently, she was still suffering from rampancy and though The Didact took her, a fragment remained on The Key Ship that he was unaware of. Mendicant synchronizes with Cortana, which does two effects. It removes her rampancy, making her essentially immune to it. And it also grants her bounds more of Forerunner knowledge. And now that she knows far more, she is able to tell where the Didact has gone.
However, Offensive Bias now intervenes fully in person, his construct piloting a Forerunner Titan. Blue Team and Osiris manage to fight off Offensive Bias. They opt to free Mendicant, Cortana vouching for him to be released as he has truly recovered his sanity from the Flood’s corruption. With Mendicant in hand, Osiris is tasked with returning to the Infinity to deposit Mendicant there; keeping him out of the hands of The Didact and the Covenant Remnants. Blue Team meanwhile makes their way to a location called The Boundless Song. It is where the Halos are given their targeting parameters and is a backup location to fire the rings from should the main control room be destroyed (given that it was in Halo 3).
Blue Team face off against the Didact’s forces, but the Prefects are now there against them. A familiar voice is commanding them… Cortana? The Didact reveals that he had taken John’s A.I. and renewed it with his image in mind. He wanted to both have John slain by his closest of companions and have Humanity be destroyed by something they created, a fitting twist of irony to mirror what the Forerunners had done to the Precursors. Blue Team eventually faces off against The Didact, his body now restored and enhanced by healing sentinels. And Blue Team comes close to defeating him, only for victory to be swept away. They lost the brawl.
Surprisingly, I have to make Part 4 be the finale? Word count limits are a pain.

Just because some people cannot aim straight does not mean the rest of the game should suffer. Sure make Dual wielding an option in customs, but that is where it should stay.

competitive -Yoink- is what ruins the modern era of gaming. it’s because of the money that things like MLG, ESports, etc brings in that games specifically cater to that little side of things-- Removing anything fun in the process. In fact, Halo 5 is what started that trend to me. 2015 is when games started catering to comp players exclusively, and as you can see, most games that did that are no longer really… Fun to play. Siege, Halo 5, Modern Warfare 2019, etc. If anything, I’d love to see a return to the classic Halo 3 - Halo Reach weapons sandbox with dual wielding, because that is what made Halo, you know, Halo. I miss when you could sit down afterschool, or afterwork; and just play games. When you could genuinely enjoy a game without encountering the next MLG sweatlord trying to rack his K.D up. Sure even back then you’d find them, but in less numbers.
Please, bring back Dual Wielding and the weapon sandbox.
Among other things…

Add split screen, other then that the multiplayer is pretty good, then I would either delete the campaign from the game because it’s -Yoink- or draw a bunch of scribbles on it and it would be better then the current one we have now

Dude, one weapon games is noob… H5 is a magnum/snipe only game and that lacks creativity
