How would you like Halo 4 to end?

How would you like Halo 4 to end? What would leave you in a sense of awe, and make you uncontrollably excited for Halo 5?

This includes: Story, Music, Gameplay ( describe what is happening. Like for example talking about the last warthog driving sequence at the end of Halo 1 ).

  • opinion * : Halo 4 should not end with a warthog run. I don’t wan’t to feel like I’m running away, I want to fight like the badass spartan I am.

Anyways, Ideas??

I hope 4 builds up to a conflict so huge that it causes 5 to go in a dark direction, and that 4 ends in a cliffhanges, not an ambiguous one, but an ending where we can guess the basic plot is of 5, similar to how 2 was to 3 in the sense that we knew that Elites would join the UNSC to fight the Covenant.

well since we know there will be a halo 5 and 6 they cant really put a cliffhanger that will work since we already know theres another one coming out. So what they should do is end maybe by showing like a huge fleet of enemies coming to Earth or something. We dont know the story yet but i want it to end where it makes it seem like we have no hope or it is showing the story unfold more.

I feel like it won’t exactly build up to Halo 5, but will leave it open for it.

I hope they leave it open for a Halo 5.

I think they should take the Halo 1 approach, not in having a Warthog run, but in the way that we have closure for the story of Halo 4, and know simply that whatever new issues were presented have been diverted, but could potentially make a return (Halo 5).

Basically say “Hey, we CAN continue this story” without leaving us in the middle of an epic plot-changing moment and the line “Finishing this Fight”

The warthog run at the end of Halo 1 was awesome b/c it wasn’t expected and was a fresh take away from the same old run and gun action we had for 10 previous missions.

I don’t necessarily want another Warthog run to end Halo 4, but I do want something unexpected and thrilling again. Don’t go the Halo 2 route and have a cliffhanger that leads into Halo 5. I hated the way ODST and Reach ended too b/c they were just games of Firefight in disguise b/c you had to hold off waves of enemies until a ship arrived or you died. If I wanted to play that I’d go into Firefight myself, not campaign.

Ending the immediate threat, realizing that the overall threat has only shown its head.

Haha, good times.

Master Chief, do you mind telling me what you are doing that ship?

Sir? Finishing this fight.

Most epic line in all of Halo, too bad they cut the last mission, although Halo 2 would have ended on a major cliffhanger either way.

With Michael Bay destruction!!!
