In Infinity, Sprint is slower (which is good for balance) and the animations looks more cleaner than H5. Spartan Charge is gone and apparently if you crouch while sprinting you produce a small sliding, which is great.
While I’m fine with sprint being unlimited on campaign, I think it shouldn’t be like this in multiplayer as there some problems that remains on it. For example, it still paradoxically slows down the gameplay and forces maps to be designed around it, and I really don’t want maps feel elongated as they did in H5.
I thought it would be nice if sprint was implemented like in Reach, where it’s supposed to only give you an small boosts and it doesn’t significantly change map design. What are your thoughts?
