If you could change halo waypoint, what are 2-3 things you would add or take away or both?

  • A counter under the polls, so you can how many people voted.
  • I’d like for them to make the quoting system a little less temperamental.
  • Some kind of following/flagging system so that you could be notified if certain waypointers posted or if a certain word or phrase was typed.
  • The return of a certain thread.
  • Some kind of medal for being regularly awesome.

I immediately would make the word ban.

I would add

  • An official mega thread section for all the mega threads
  • Notifications when specific words were posted (ban)
  • Bring the news section back.
  • Slightly increase the post limit for new guys.

Um doesn’t it already do that? I use Mobile for waypoint all the time.

Not for me. After the last waypoint update it disappeared.

ANDROID APP, i think 2 or 3 people have microsoft phones and those 3 dont play halo

Cut down in the FULL CAPS in all the thread titles. It makes a lot of topics sound very childish.

Make it so threads lock when noone has posted in 2 or 3 months.

I’d agree with Mr Hermit, a vote count would be very nice

The off-topic thread. I’m not counting on it happening and I’d prefer that those who walk above not think I’m bugging them about it, but it would make me happy.

This was a perfect timing as the other thread brought to my mind all the things I don’t like about the site. If I could (i.e., not only given the power to, but also capable to) change the site I’d

  • Make the dark theme the default theme on the whole site - Fix the text color from white to light bluish grey (grey to not hurt the eye, and bluish to match the theme) - Add formatting buttons to the source code view of the post editor - Add formatting for font sizes and code (i.e., blocks of text that don’t interpret BBCode as formatting) - Tables would be nice if I’m allowed to dream a bit - Add a tab to profile page where I can see all my posts in the order of most liked (this was sometimes a really useful feature on the old Waypoint) - Some changes that’d make my life as a moderator a bit easier, which I can’t be bothered to listThese are at least the remotely realistic ones. The totally unrealistic one is LaTeX support. I can imagine that the intersection of people who’d find this useful, and the people who frequent Waypoint could be counted with one hand. But hey, this is if I could change Waypoint.

P.S. I totally missed the “2-3 things”.
