Like the title says above, what would you do if you can change a weapon for the greater good or for worse. For me personally I want AR to have a bigger reticle like the previous games had like Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 2A. What are your reasons? Leave comments below. And no I did not make this because of the whole AR nerf going on.
Well off the top of my head I would change the way the H5 BR sounds. It sounds to much like a weak nail gun. I am also not a fan of the visual of the twin jewels just don’t like it. I would also slightly buff the regular warthog gun and mantis gun.
I would personally change the warthog machine gun turrets to have more cover, which would provide more protection for the gunner.
I’d change the splaser so it shoots one solid beam that does 500 damage instead of 500 beams that do 1 damage each.
This might be a slight exaggeration, but the damn thing is so inconsistent for me when shooting moving targets. It takes long enough to charge, I don’t wanna focus on moving the beam while I’m being blasted with huge recoil in the first place.
Change the Plasma Turret’s bolts from projectile to hitscan. The thing has been too inconsistent for too long.
Have the sticky explosives from the Dying Star detonate quicker.

That sounds like a pretty big nerf to me. But why would you do that? That would make the weapon obsolete.
For me, I would make the BR either a 12 bullet kill so it doesn’t dominate the pistol all the time (like what I’ve been seeing in a lot of HCS matches).
Also alter the Storm Rifle cause I feel it’s a little too strong for 4v4. Make it kill in 13 bolts (6 shield and 7 health) and slightly reduce the rate of fire. In exchange ill make it so 1% battery is 2 shots always instead of it going back and forth.
I miss the way the old BRs shot. Not the magnetic bullets and such, but the fact that it was actually distinguishable as a 3-round burst. The H5 BRs sound and feel like they only fire a single round (even though I know they don’t and that it’s just the rounds being fired in quicker succession).
Lord have mercy on my soul for what I’m about to say:
I think percision HUMAN weapons like the BR and DMR should take on shot more to kill you like it did in Halo 4’s pre patch era.
I think the game is more loose and fun without relying on them, like in Halo 1 and like how in Halo 2 you never started off with the BR but had to find it. Ever since Halo 3 and the rise of the MLG/competitiveCUMSfirst/DudeBro players who feel Halo is more about skill and headshots than literally everything else the game stopped being kin to Unreal tornemant and lost what made the multiplayer generally special.
A lot of players want the automatics to be nerfed or tuned down somehow, and claim that using automatics are lazy and it requires more skill to land headshots. Well frankly that’s not good enough. If you want real skill, maybe they should have to work harder for those kills and punished more for not relaxing and just letting go.
Halo shouldn’t be this serious,

Halo used to be about having fun, now it’s just about winning.
I would make the scorpions faster and decrease the charge time for the Spartan Lazer.
Make the Phaeton faster. Maybe give the Helios a second thrust.
Oh…wait. It’s weapons. Hmm. Most likely the grinder. Give it a larger vortex effect.
AI’s should have the same weapon limitations as everyone else (reloading, non 20km tracking bullets, charge time for power-up weapons, etc.)
Wouldn’t it be more realistic if Covies dropped with supply crates, the ability to pick up weapons, board and be boarded.
Maybe this would be a different game and not a simulation.
I know this is heresy, but I would nerf the plasma pistol’s overcharge. The new rule would be: you can overcharge it once, but that drains the weapon completely. In other words, you’re breaking it by using the overcharge, which is exactly what the word “overcharge” is supposed to mean.
I’d also increase the plasma grenade’s damage against vehicles; I mean, sticking a ghost doesn’t destroy it? Not in my Halo…
I’d give the Mantis tracking missiles, like it had in H4.
>Insert rant about bullet magnetism
I would prolly change the banshees flipping ability in some way. Its way to easy to just fly down and do a somersault, insta killing a player, or warzone boss for that matter. Maybe even remove its shields. It’s a vehicle, not a player.
shorten the lunge/red reticle distance for the melee weapons, especially the energy sword.

There’s a simple solution for that… Turn the base boost up on your headphones. XD
- return of H2 Br.
- decrease damange of all automatic weapons: needle rifle, needler, smg, ar, boltshot, plasma rifle, ecc
- No run using the sword or shotgun
- increase radious and impact of frag grenades, because thruster pack has decreased their utility.

Why would you drop sprint from the CQB weapons? These are some of the only weapons I will sprint with in Arena, because well CQB weapons are (hold on to your socks here) made for CQB. You want to be nice and close to your enemy.
