How would the Arbiter return?

If the Arbiter ever did return, how do you think he would do so?

Assuming this is before Chief reaches the Infinity…

I pictured Chief surrounded by a dozen or so Elites. They all have energy swords and are closing in. A Zealot in front of Chief attempts to lunge at him, when it is suddenly tackled and sent flying. The Zealot and the Arbiter stand up and the Arbiter kills him with a swift stab of the energy sword.

Then, a boatload of Elites jump on the group that attacked Chief and kill them, too.

Arbiter: My brothers are still tainted by the Prophets lies. Spartan. How do you fare?

Chief: I had it under control. (Puts gun on his back)

(Arbiter stands next to him and they walk towards the Infinity)

Chief: What are you doing here?

Arbiter: I seek to purge my brothers who are blind to the truth. And you?

Chief: Cortana can’t fly…

Cortana: Hey!

Lol it’s possible but I don’t think chief would make a joke… Funny regardless!

I don’t think Arbiter should call Chief Spartan.
They’re relationship is much like ‘Arby N the Chief’ in that they’re nothing without each other.
I think he should just call him Chief.

Anyways, I think Arbiter should come back when the player believes all is lost and thousands of forerunner ships are surrounding Chief’s location and they truly believe there is no way he can survive.
When…
Arbiter comes out of the portal with the entire Covenant fleet behind, all united.
And The entire UNSC fleet too.
Attacking the Forerunner ships and igniting a massive battle.
Arbiter would call in and say “This is Arbiter, can anyone here me?”
Chief “Yo”.
Arbiter “Chief! Hold on, I’m relaying your signal, I’ll be at your location in a bit”.

That would be a truly bad–Yoink- moment.

As much as i resent myself for saying this but i don’t think we will see him in Halo 4, HOWEVER i’m pretty sure we will see him in Halo 5 and 6, i mean he is apart of Halo as much as the Master Chief is.

Hahahha, that is funny. I like it very much!

I don’t think that the Arbiter would call him Chief. He has never done. He called him Demon and Spartan. So Spartan is the better way of addressing him.

The Chief would not say ‘Yo’. He would say ‘This is Spartan-117’. Or Cortana would just reply on the Arbiter’s call.
And then the Arbiter would say something less … human.

I also don’t believe that Thel 'Vadam will appear in Halo 4. He could be in pursuit of the other Elites, however. Maybe there is going to be a big battle between the Covenant cruisers when they approach the wreckage of the Forward Unto Dawn. On the cover art of Halo 4, we saw a Covenant Cruiser having crashed onto Requiem. How could that have happened? Either there was a battle between Covenant Ships or it was attacked by Forerunner Defense Mechanisms or it was violently drawn into the Shield World. WHo knows …

Yeah I don’t think he will be in halo 4 either… Probably 5 though.

Im betting Halo 5 or 6

I think Arbiter should call Chief, Chief. It’s make their relationship more personal and interesting. Besides, Arbiter’s been a core focus of covenant relations with Humanity for the past 5 years. One of his biggest regrets is the death of Chief, who was his biggest rival to his closest friend. To call Chief “Spartan” is a a bit of anti-climax and underwhleming.

Yeah I know Chief wouldn’t say “Yo”.

Still its an intresting thought though

Yeah, it could be more personal. But do you really think that would fit his personality? Just as I mentioned before, Thel often called the Chief “Demon” during Halo 2 and “Spartan” in Halo 3.

He talks a bit more than Chief – but not too much. I think if he was going to meet the Chief it would be less talk and more active cover for each other. The two examples Sarnius Eden and COG Ryan posted are reflecting that well.

The scene could just switch to earth or wherever the Arbiter is.

The chief and arbiter weren’t always in the same place in halo 2 but the arbiter was till there, they could do the same for halo 4

Ancient Enemy’s minions have MC pinned down, they move in for the killing blow when the tips of an energy sword burst through one of their chests. The rest are quickly dispatched and the Arbiter decloaks.

“We must move quickly Spartan. It has returned.”

*The Arbiter helps the Chief up as an Assualt Carrier glides overhead."

Rewatch the Halofest panels. Arbiter is gonna be back. Just a matter of when

awesomely is the answer ;D

THIS IS EXACTLY HOW THEL WOULD REACT! THANK YOU, MAN!

I would really love that. Playing as both the Chief and the Arbiter again would be really cool.

> Yeah I don’t think he will be in halo 4 either… Probably 5 though.

Honestly i don’t think he’ll be in a game again. I bet that the Arbiter’s death will be a driving force in the plot of The Thursday War. The only way I could see him return is in a Halo 2 Anniversary.
