How would another Halo ring play a part?

I know Chief is drifting towards this planet etc and we may encounter forerunners but I was wondering how another Halo ring could play into Halo 4?

I mean a Halo ring has to be there otherwise it wouldn’t be a Halo game!

Even if you don’t go onto the ring I just want to look at another ring :smiley:

That’s only partially true…

So ODST, Reach and Halo Wars weren’t Halo games… this is news to me.

Since we’ve been on a Halo in every game of the first trilogy, I think Halo 4 should take a break from being on a Halo, and maybe we’d see one in Halo 5 and 6, in campaign anyway. Having some in multiplayer would be fine by me though.

I don’t know about you, but I want Halo 4 to move the story into a new and mysterious direction.

ya me 2 man. i dont really want any halo rings in the next trilogy. just because it’s called halo doesnt mean there have to be any rings in it. Maybe after halo 6 they could make a halo mmo on a halo ring.

There are seven rings.

In Glasslands (Set after the end of the war), the Humans are at Installation 03. It’s a safe bet to assume Halos will still be involved with the Reclaimer trilogy.

I wonder if the rings function with the Ark out of commission. I think we’re supposed to assume its more or less destroyed/non-functioning at the end oh Halo 3.

Secondly, the humans obviously haven’t expanded their colonies into space nearby Halos or else they’d know where they are. They only know about 05 because of Regret, and whatever the story is with 03 I’m not sure.
