I am a day one Series X purchaser myself. I will most likely play predominately on my couch since I have a high-end Sony 65 inch HDR TV.
With that said, I play Halo MCC exclusively now on PC and have put in a ton of games now that I can enjoy the wonders of G-Sync and have zero controller lag. I am only playing in 1440p and my monitor cannot compare to the beauty of my TV, but G-Sync with a controller is absolute magic.
Now that I’ve seen it will be yet another Halo game with a sprint mechanic, I probably won’t end up playing it much at all. I’ll hold out full judgement until a demo is out and I can play it. But, after seeing sprinting in the demo, I have extremely low expectations of it being an enjoyable game. I’ll be playing that demo on console though since I don’t have a gaming capable PC.
I’m not sure yet as I need to play a demo before I decide to pickup the game. Chances are I’ll play it on PC if I decide to pickup up the game since I only went to the Xbox for Halo 3. Not sure if the PC specs have been revealed but if my PC can’t handle it, I’ll give it a shot on xCloud.
Series X for sure. I got it pre-ordered and I’m upgrading my TV as well.
My PC isn’t powerful enough for this game and I’m not going to upgrade it now. I might test the game on my Xbox One though just for the hell of it.
I’ll play the campaign on Gamepass, PC, to explore the story and get some closure.
Still not feeling it with the sprint and hitmarkers in a Halo game, as 4 and 5.
Halo has outgrown me it seems and I’m ready to move on after this campaign.
gamepass on pc. won’t buy it unless splitscreen is included in the pc version. Funny thing because I sold my xbox when play anywhere became a thing because i have a pc that was far superior at the time and is even more so now with consistent upgrades. But then i found out play anywhere really means play anywhere (minus some features we don’t feel like putting time in to or spending resources on). I will play the campaign because of the past 20 years of lore i’ve invested myself into between the games, and all tie in media. Then I will delete it when i’m done and never touch it again because all I wanted out of multiplayer was to be able to sit and play with my kid like the old days when i was younger playing CE all the way through 4. The only reason I will play through the campaign is just so i can see where they took the story.
