I’m kind of upset/jealous that some people got Halo 4 before the release date by ordering it online. So for Halo 5, I’m thinking about ordering online from somewhere. How about you guys?
Yeah, I agree. I’m kind of annoyed people have gotten it early. Defeats the purpose of having a ‘release date’. I understand that reviewers (press etc) got it early, but there’s also normal people who have it early because it was just sent out like that. I wouldn’t mind if it were a day or two but some have had it a bit too long. For Halo 5, I’m going to pre-order and hope I get it early if others are.
Do you know which online store or is it any online stores?
Seems rather early to be thinking about it, but I’ve always pre-ordered in store whilst I’ve been getting some other games. Although I think I am going to favor the convenience of pre ordering online and have it delivered to my door. Luckily I am able to pick up Halo 4 on the 7th, but if I ordered online then I would get it on the day or even earlier, which would be better for me and more convenient at the same time.

I don’t think that any online retailers should be able to ship these games until after the release day.
Getting it early is complete luck of the draw. You forget, that by ordering online, you also risk getting it after the release date. My friend didn’t get his Halo Reach from Amazon and till 3 days after release and there will be plenty people who don’t get Halo 4 on time.
I’ll still go midnight launch for Halo 5. Great people, great atmosphere and great fun.
H4 will be my first midnight launch so we’ll see how I like that. If I don’t, I’ll order H5 online.

That would kind of screw the online market then.
Leaks and getting it before the release date doesn’t happen often, I wouldn’t get your hopes up because so and so accidentally got their hands on it this time from this retailer it probably won’t happen the next time around.
