Alright, so I know there are sooooooooooo many theories about the Chief dying in Halo 6, and if so, how. But, what about the sexiest Halo character ever (Thel 'Vadam)? I’m just curious to see what everyone thinks.

I don’t think they’ll kill him off. If they’re planning on retiring the Chief soon, the Arbiter would still be there as a reminder of classic halos. You can kill one nostalgic character and get away with it, but two? Nope. The fanboys will rage.

If ‘HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED’ has anything to say about it Palmer will kill him in the first 30 seconds of the next game, just like Jul

I wish lol. Sangheli have a limited lifespan, but it’s about twice as much as it is for a normal healthy human

I imagine that, even if Chief dies/is relieved of duty, Thel will continue to bring the Sangheili out of their age-old blindness and help them rise to the strength they had before the Covenant once more. Since the end of the original Covenant, he and Chief were no longer really reflections of each other but instead seemed to take their own paths. He just doesn’t really seem like a character that is going to die off for a while.
If he dies,he will soon respawn.Thel wont die anytime soon.

I agree with what everyone said. He probably won’t die anytime soon, not to mention he is too -Yoink!- to die.

Honestly, Thel strikes me as the sort of steadfast character that will stay around until someday in some future Halo he returns as some elderly, wizard-like Sangheili and gives our protagonist some helpful advice or info in one mission then croaks it.
Basically, I’m thinking like a hinge-head Obi-Wan Kenobi.
