I miss the old days when me and my friend played very competetively in Halo 2 and Halo 3. I know the system did not work extremely well, but it still made the game much more fun. I never reached 50 but trying to get there was fun anyway. It made the matches more intense!
The Reach ranking system was more like, the more you play the higher rank you get, and had almost nothing to do with actual skill.
How will the ranking system in H4 work?
There are two ranking systems in Halo 4!
The only one we’ve been told about at this time is the progressive ranking system, which is pretty much like Reach’s, the more you play, the more you level up.
It goes from 1-50, first rank being SR-1, and the last SR-50, well until you use specializtions.
The ranked ranking system is still unknown to us, but Frank O’ Connor confirmed we’ll here more about it before launch.
What ‘ranking’ system?
While the system will be like Reach’s credit system, there will be options for players who are competitive and care about skill. Frankie has said there will be more information released soon, I would expect in 1-2 weeks. Whats so good about their new system is that is caters to both sides of the community, Competitive and Casual.
