How will the Armor Skins work?

While I was watching the gamestop ad, I thought about something. Are the armor skins, like forest, for all the armors, or just for the Hazop?

I heard some skins are armour specific.

All of the armor skins are armor specific. The Gamestop Forest skin, for example, only being usable on Recruit.

I think the skins being Armor-specific is a terrible idea. I think Hazop is the ugliest armor in the game, but if I want to wear Forest skin I have to wear Hazop? What a waste.

I believe it’s for Hazop, Recruit’s armor skin comes with the Limited Edition

I agree, a dumb move by 343/-Yoink!-.

No, the Recruit Armor is available from the very start of multiplayer (hence, recruit), and the LE only comes with a skin.

The picture for the Forest Skin is misleading, it’s actually for the Recruit Armor.

yeah, armor skins being amor specific is terrible. awell, maybe for halo 5 they wont be

Almost every armor will have its own specific skin. For example: Only HAZOP will have the Forest skin. And CIO will only have access to the WEB skin.

They are specific to that particular armor piece. Hopefully in Halo 5, they’ll make it so that more skins are available for all armor pieces.

Either way, it still sucks.

To my knowledge, it’s only for Hazop (The pre-order picture and Gamestop’s recent video shows the skin on Hazop armor). And I said ‘Recruit’s armor skin’ which is the Prime armor skin.

At Pax when they were cycling through the Armor, Hazop had Forest Skin. Recruit had Prime Skin.

The Limited Edition comes with the ‘Prime’ Recruit armor skin. Forest armor is exclusive to pre-ordering from GameStop. It’s exclusive to HazOp armor. Check out the new video. I learned this a few months in advanced by doing my research.

As others have said, it’s armor specific.

What i want to know is the level of such. Could we wear a different helmet but wear the Hazop chest piece with the skin? Or is it 100 percent, you have to wear all Hazop/insert armor set here?

Judging from armor videos from PAX I think you might be safe suggesting that they are armor specific.

I like HaZop , i only hate the helmet , everyhing else looks cool

I think it’s a skin for all armours cos in the new video you see the person changing armour but the skin remains, he flicks through like 6 pieces of armour… So I think it’s all armour

your right…ish but wrong. i can have everything cio with web skin and have wetwork helmet with skin. or else it would be a full armor set but with said different piece. and to qoute you about the video, the skins are a seperate piece of armor. so like above i can have full set but with a different piece of any armor i see fitting or i can have the most f’ed up combo of skins from each seperate armor piece(i can imagine that)

Ermmm… You lost me :stuck_out_tongue:

Considering this card here says nothing about a specific armor and the flack 343 would receive if it did make them armor specific? I’m guessing the skins can be applied to any armor…
