If the upcoming Halo Infinite have ODST Troopers in it, how will they appeared in the new Halo video game? Could they appeared somewhere in the third or fourth mission of the campaign level in Halo Infinite?
Really depends on the type of mission and if they want ODSTs appearing as emphasis. I’d love to see them return though since they didn’t appear in the reclaimer saga games yet.
I hope 343 lets us play as ODST again, and we get to customize the appearance.
If they are in the game, it’s more than likely we will stumble upon them occasionally in a tight spot where you have to get them out of it as rescuing marines is apparently a thing in the game.
I really hope ODSTs make a resurgence in Infinite. I get why 343 tried to shift to the S-IVs, but ODSTs are a staple of Halo, and I miss having them and regular marines alongside the Chief. Part of the charm of Halo comes from the power trip you get from being the only 7ft+ super soldier Greek god among mere mortals… It’s hard to maintain that feeling when the Chief is surrounded by S-IVs that are just as visually imposing as him.
But to answer you more directly, I can’t even begin to guess. But I hope we get some H3 vibes from them.
Probably just as more rare marines, or back up to signify an incoming difficult area. I am very curious to find out however.
