So I’ve just finally completed Halo 2: Anniversary on Legendary difficulty. I did it level-by-level, in order, over the past five days. I dabbled a bit in the other campaigns while I did it. Also the Achievements for completing “The Arbiter” and “Uprising” did not pop for me. At least “The Arbiter” Achievement is sitting in my Achievements, locked, but with the progress bar at 100% and the caption saying “Done! Unlocking…”. It has maintained this for the past three or four days. Not sure about “Uprising”. Just finished the level; didn’t check Achievements.
Anyways, upon completing “The Great Journey”, I got the Achievement for completing the level. What I did not get was any Achievement for completing the Halo 2 campaign on any difficulty. Nor did I get any of the Avatars or Nameplates associated with completing Halo 2 on Legendary. I went and checked my Achievements in the in-game UI and the game knows I’ve beat every level on Legendary. Also, when I go to Level Select, every level shows the Legendary badge for my solo completion. I triple checked this.
But I’ve still got none of the rewards for it. The funny part is that, even though the in-game UI recognizes that I’ve completed every level of Halo 2 individually, it seems to think I haven’t completed the whole Halo 2 Campaign. It makes no sense.
This is actually kind of a large issue for me. I love Achievements and a high completion rate. If I can’t even pop Achievements for something as straightforward as finishing the Campaign on Legendary, I’m kind of hesitant to try for any of the other Achievements.
So how am I going to figure out a fix for this? Anybody have any ideas?

Hey guys, same exact problem here with me. Legendary is a huge “thing” for me. The Legend Achievement is even bigger.
I am the owner of Wolfiez Beef Jerky. Some of you may remember way back in the day Frankie O. Made a weekly update about me entitled, “The Legend of Wolfiez Beef Jerky”.
That’s why this is so epic for me, because I’ve always felt that the real Halo experience is found in Legendary difficulty. And because Bungie thinks my product is Ledendary! <3
I had beat all the games on Legendary stand alone. And was absolutely giddy to do it again on MCC back when it released. I found the problem a year later with the “logged out” glitch and just got so busy with biz that I couldn’t make the time to dig out the failed lvls and rerun them. Lots o beef!
I have an xbone at my jerky shop and would grind and pause in between batches. Well 3 of the super long Halo 2 levels bit me in the rear as I got logged but didnt know it, and would come back and just keep grinding the lvl.
Every single level shows “Solo Legendary” completion, and there was a way to check way back then. I had written them down. But I can not for the life of me figure out how to find those missing lvls now and I lost my cheat sheet.
I’ve got some time on my hands now as I’ve recently had a lower back surgery. Good lord I want the Helios armor sure… But I need that “Legend” Achievement so I can snap shot it and put the pic on my Halo wall in the shop. Bungie helped me launch my first website. Dang man, I’ve been on this quest since before we knew that H5 would grant the Helios AV. I’ve been hard after that “Legend” chivo since day 1 of MCC. </3 wolfie kicks rocks
Man I wish they’d help me find these glitched lvls… I’ll rerun em. I’d love the challenge… Just need any guidance/help/expertise you guys could lend an old OG gamer like me. :…(
