Thats sometimes not the point, having position advantage in situations (or even just engaging in a DMR battle, face to face) to have someone turn around and spam 5 shot you…because you were in the better position? That’s BS. Ive seen clips of that exact situation, its all luck and basicly a coin flip. Having the removal of bloom in a competitive setting will make it better because it eliminates all that and rewards the players aim, strafe and positioning on the map. And it just makes the gameplay that much faster, surely you cant be against that?

If they spam and get 5 shots to hit, you’d have to be pretty close to them. The one rate of fire does not cover all situations. Strafing is not that effective in Reach because of the player inertia resulting in you strafing a lot slower (Instead of strafing at walking speed in either direction as in previous games, in Reach you have to strafe, stop and then strafe in the other direction). I’ll enjoy zero bloom as much as the next dude. I just don’t have a problem with normal bloom… or 85% bloom for that matter.

Everyone with negative kd on Halo 3 complain about bloom removal, thats a fact, seriously. Some people like luck, well I like skill. Please remove bloom, but still its nice to see an early gametype coming.

They’re never going to remove bloom. They’re going to offer playlists without it, but nothing across the board for the foreseeable time for sure.

Wrong. I’m negative in Halo 3, but I really would like to see bloom go away forever.

Hmmm yea im interested in lesser bloom rates aswell. Having the playlists to test out all the different variations of the bloom will be good.
