OP, it’s because users who play Reach from a Preview Disc or On Demand don’t have the update yet. It’ll happen at some point today.

Just be glad we are getting this HOLY DIVINE update, I have been waiting for it since the first day reach came out and slapped my xbox off. I have waited almost a year for reach to become halo. I would rather still wait another week and have everything be 100% complete, I mean c’mon we are all complaining here about the game, bungie -Yoinked!- up and can you imgaine how many people would be pissed if 343i rushed through the TU? bungie could’ve taken more time on reach but didn’t and messed it up, now here we are trying to push 343i…c’mon guys be greatfull, release it next year i dont give a rat’s -Yoink-, just make it halo again!!!

Alot of people are not fully grasping what all is going on in the world of Halo: Reach’s title update(s).
What I particularly didn’t catch was this:
We are not getting the downloadable gametype today.
Excerpt from the last bulletin:
Will 343 make a couple of custom gametypes featuring the TU changes available for download on the day the TU is released so we don’t have to wait till October to try out the changes? - SketchyBRWill
we make a couple? No. Will we make one? Yes. Will it be available the day the TU is released? No. Will it be available shortly thereafter? Yes.
So yeah, sometime after today, in the near future before October 4th we will have the download version of whatever 343 has prepared for us to prepare us to get in the playlist to prepare for the actual playlist going up when Anniversary eddition launches… So prepare for all that stuff.

Lets not forget that David Ellis tweeted it will NOT be coming also until the Games of Demand version and Xbox LIVE Preview Program version of Reach receive the Title Update which may not even be tomorrow.
They need to release the custom gametype already
