Has it been answered yet how co-op campaign would work? I understand the stop action scenes would probably just be omitted but what I really wonder is who the secondary players would be. Multiple clones of MC running around? Because I would really hate going back to that but it seems the only option. We dont have any elite buddies to help him out like in halo 3, in fact his new friends the elites are back to trying to kill him, and it just wouldnt make sense to have these new spartans help him out because we all know UNSC Infinity doesnt crashland until closer to the middle of the campaign or so so where would they have come from?? MC is alone in space, I dont see who the co-op partners would play as and have it make sense no matter how you spin it.
The UNSC Infinity shows up about a third of the way into the campaign and Spartan IV’s are aboard. I’d bet that campaign buddies play as Spartan IV’s since the material that we have seen so far focuses so heavily on the Spartan IV’s.
but where do they COME from?? The ship isnt there from the start of the campaign, chief is stranded isnt he? Oh well, i suppose itll be answered in time eh?

I would go with a cowardly Promethean knight with monocles, a grunt similar to the easter egg ones with a dog collar on, an hunter crawling on all fours, and MC himself.
Spartan IV’s were trained to accompany the UNSC Infinity. They came from the shipyards in the Sol System.

xviFallout yeah thats true and i get that the only problem is the Infinity carrying the spartan IV’s doesnt arrive until about a third of the way through the campaign after chiefy has already been plodding around doing master chief stuff for a while.
BurstingBox478 seems the more likely solution and I kind of hope it would change at some point but i can already feel the hate these forums would show an inconsistancy as large as that would be lol
I doesn’t really need to make sense, the ‘clones’ are functional for the purpose.
They’re just there to facilitate co-op, it doesn’t have to be ingrained in the canon.
I think it’s just MC clones.

Anyways, nothing else will canonically work. So Co-Op campaign is not canon now.
