How well does Pioneer work?

Curious to know how much extra xp you get from using for an entire game.

Im wondering if it’s a perk you have to use, or something that it automatic

I’ve been wondering the same thing… I’m nearing 50 and I’m definitely considering pioneer.

I believe I averages 406 to 457 fast track points in my first two matches using the perk last night.

It is a perk that you have to equip.

You get about 200-500 exp I believe extra. Not an enormous amount. But, overtime it would add up.

Spartan OPs, I believe it adds about 1000 exp.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Jake.

It depends on your skill, situation and game type.

I got at one game of Spatan Ops 1200 bonus xp from the Piooner perk. It will be an extremely high amount if you have Double xp.

No, you still get the same amount. I have double XP and I only get around 1.2k extra per game.

I’m only at Pioneer 7 so i’m not there yet, but I could see this being in a number of my loadouts. In fact I could see this and Ordinance Priority being standard options for all my loadouts.

I’m a Pioneer right now and was disappointed that the Fast Track TacPac (hey - that rhymes!) is not even unlocked until you’ve completed the specialization Pioneer - 10.

Ordinance Priority isn’t that good. It only gives you the waypoint for the weapons like an extra 2-3 seconds before everybody else. And even then most of the time its glitched ad doesn’t show due to lag (I’m not the only one this happens to).
Try the perk that comes with leveling up Tracker (forget its name). It allows you to swap your personal ordinance for a completely new set if you don’t like the choices.

Well. The amount of Double xp is increased by the total you get right?

Example: You get 5900+ 1200 from the piooner so=7290 (the amount i got)x 2= 14.500 xp.

Its the same with ALL the specializations. You don’t get any of the perks until you complete each one to level 10.

No, the Fast Track is added on AFTER the double XP is applied.

Edit: nvm someone beat me to it

Double xp only doubles the game complete, so the max you get in a spartan ops mission is 5950 doubled is 11900 plus a good 1200 fast track

As for matchmaking you get around 400-600 extra per game

Ordinance priority reduces the points you need to get ordinance.

I think he was talking about using the Pioneer Tactical Package along with the Ordinance Priority Support Upgrade (not the Engineer Specialization you reference.)

Yeah it occurred to me afterwards. I always get Ordinance priority and the other one mixed up lol
